Electric Hot Water Bag – Gel Heat Bag, No Boiling Water

Warm in about 5 minutes · up to 2 hours of heat · auto cut-off · sealed gel, no water filling

Short Description

An electric hot water bag is a gel-filled heat bag that you plug into a wall socket for about 5 minutes, unplug, and then hold on your back, tummy, neck or knees. The sealed gel inside keeps the warmth for up to about 2 hours, so you get the comfort of a classic rubber bag without boiling water, without spills and without the rubber smell. A built-in auto cut-off switches the heater off once the bag is hot.

What is inside an electric hot water bag?

Inside the fabric cover is a sealed plastic pouch filled with a thermal gel – a thick liquid that soaks up heat quickly and gives it back slowly. A small heating element and a thermostat sit in the pouch near the blue charging socket. When you plug it in, the element warms the gel; when the gel is hot, the thermostat cuts the power on its own. That is why the bag feels evenly warm across its whole surface rather than hot in one spot.

You never open the pouch and you never add water. The gel stays sealed for the life of the bag, which is what makes it leak-proof in normal use.

Safety tips

  • Never use the bag while it is charging. Unplug the cable from the wall and from the bag first.
  • Do not leave it charging unattended, and never charge it overnight.
  • Keep a thin cloth or your clothes between the bag and your skin, and move it if it feels too hot.
  • Do not use it on babies, on a person who is asleep, or on anyone who cannot feel heat well – check with a doctor first for diabetes, poor circulation or after surgery.
  • Do not fold it, sit on it, pierce it or iron it. Keep the socket dry.
  • Stop using it if the bag swells, leaks, smells of burning or the cover is torn.

Heat gives temporary comfort; it does not cure an illness. For pain that lasts or keeps coming back, see a doctor.

Electric Hot Water Bag – frequently asked questions

What is the price of this electric hot water bag?

₹499 including GST. The MRP is ₹999, so you save ₹500 (50% off). Delivery is free anywhere in India and a GST invoice comes with the order.

What is inside an electric hot water bag?

A sealed pouch of thermal gel with a small heating element and a thermostat. You never open it and you never fill water.

How long does it take to heat and how long does it stay warm?

About 5 minutes to heat. After you unplug it, it stays warm for up to about 2 hours; in a cold room it cools a little sooner.

Can I use it while it is charging?

No. Always unplug the cable from the wall and from the bag before you put it on your body.

What does auto cut-off mean?

A thermostat inside switches the heater off when the gel is hot enough, so the bag does not keep heating if you forget to unplug it. Still, do not leave it charging unattended.

Are there side effects of using a hot water bag?

Used over a cloth for 15–20 minutes at a time, heat is gentle. Too long or directly on bare skin can redden or burn the skin, so keep a layer in between and check your skin. People with diabetes or low skin feeling should ask a doctor first.

Is Cash on Delivery available?

Yes, Cash on Delivery is available at checkout (a small COD charge applies), or pay online by UPI, card or net banking.

Warranty and returns: see warranty and returns. Track a parcel on the order tracking page.
