Carton Sealer Spares

On a carton sealer, three things wear and they wear in a predictable order. The tape head goes first: the blade that cuts the tape and the rollers that press it onto the carton are in contact with adhesive and board all day.

Then the drive - the side and top belts that carry the carton through, and the rollers they run on. When cartons start slipping or arriving crooked at the head, the belts are usually the cause and the head gets blamed.

Then the electricals: switches, sensors and boards for the models in our range. These are the parts that stop a machine completely rather than degrade its output, so they are worth knowing you can source.

Choosing the right one

Send the machine model and a photograph of the part. On a tape head especially, a part that looks identical across two models often is not, and a photograph settles it before anything is dispatched.

Buy the blade before you need it. A tape head blade is a small part that stops a bench, and keeping one on the shelf is the cheapest insurance in the packing hall.

If a machine is cutting tape badly, look at the blade and the roller together. Replacing one and not the other is why the fault often comes back within a week.

What this range will not do

These are parts for the machines in our range. For another make, send the model plate and the photograph and we will tell you plainly whether we can help.

Replacing wear parts does not correct a machine that is set wrong for the carton. If tape is landing off-centre, check the size setting before ordering a head.

And a part is not a diagnosis. If the fault is intermittent, ask for an engineer rather than buying parts in sequence.
