What we collect

Only what you type into an enquiry, a call-back request, a complaint or a document request:

• Your name, and your company if you give it.
• A phone number and an email address — how we reply to you.
• What you are asking about — the machine, your carton or load size, your volumes, and anything else you choose to write.
• A delivery pin code or address, where you are asking for freight to be quoted.

What we do not collect

This site takes no payment, so we hold no card or bank details from the website. Where an order is paid by bank transfer, those details reach us through your bank and your invoice, not through this site.

We do not ask for any government identification number, and there is nothing on this site that needs one.

We do not place advertising or profiling trackers of our own on this site, and we do not sell or rent anyone's details to anybody. If a browser feature such as remembering your cart stores something, it stays in your own browser.

Why we hold it, and for how long

To answer your enquiry, to prepare a quotation, to fulfil and deliver an order, to support the machine afterwards, and to keep the records that Indian tax and company law require us to keep.

An enquiry that does not become an order is kept while it is still live and for a reasonable period afterwards, because buyers often come back months later. Records relating to an actual sale — invoices, GST records — are kept for as long as the law requires.

Who else sees it

Only where it is needed to do the job you asked for:

• The transporter, for a delivery — the consignee name, address and phone number.
• Our accountants and auditors, for records that form part of the company's books.
• A government authority, where the law requires it.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it and we will. Ask us to delete it and we will, except where a record has to be kept for tax or legal reasons — in which case we will tell you which record and why.

Ask us to stop contacting you and we will stop.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives individuals in India rights over their personal data. Where it applies to a request you make, we will honour it.

This is a first draft prepared for PackForge Industries and should be reviewed by the company's own legal adviser before the site goes live. A grievance officer must be named here before publication.

How your information is kept

Enquiries and order records are held in the company's own systems, accessible to the people who need them to do the work — sales, despatch, service and accounts — rather than to everyone.

Access is limited by role. The despatch desk does not need your commercial terms and the accounts desk does not need your machine settings, and neither has them.

Where a service provider processes information on our behalf — an accountant, an IT provider — they are given only what the task requires, and only to do that task for us.

If something goes wrong

If personal information held by us is exposed in a way likely to affect you, we will tell you and the appropriate authority, describe what happened and what we are doing about it. We would not learn about a breach from you and say nothing.
