What is the BW600 box stretch wrapper without top press?

The box sits on a 20 inch turntable driven through a standard gearbox. A 20 inch stretch film roll goes into the carriage on the mast, and as the table turns the carriage rides up and down, laying film in overlapping turns from base to top. Film tension comes from the stretch-type carriage. The table carries anything up to 100 kg at an 840 mm working height, and the drive takes 2 kW from a 220 V / 50 Hz supply.

Crates, single appliance cartons, solid cases and wooden boxes up to about 24 x 14 x 14 inch are its job. Keep a stock of 20 inch film rolls and give the machine its own circuit. If your loads are stacks of light cartons that settle, choose the top press wrapper or the BW600 PLC; for loaded pallets, the SW2100.

Wrapping a single crate on the BW600 – 4 steps

   Place the box centrallySet the box in the middle of the 20 inch turntable; heavy items near 100 kg must sit right at the centre.

   Thread the filmLoad a 20 inch stretch roll, pull the film through the carriage and tuck the tail under the box edge.

   Start the wrapSwitch on and let the table turn while the carriage moves up and down, adding extra turns at the bottom.

   Cut and finishStop the table, cut the film, press the tail flat against the box and lift it off.
