What to send so we can help on the first reply
A machine help desk is only as quick as the first message it gets. Put these in one WhatsApp message or email:
- The rating plate. A clear photo of the plate with model and serial number. Wipe off the dust first.
- A 15 to 30 second clip. Film the fault happening, from a safe distance, with sound on. A noise or a slipping belt is easy to hear.
- What changed. New tape, new strap, a new operator, a power cut, a machine shifted to another bench.
- Your PIN code. It decides whether a visit is possible or the fix will be remote.
- Order reference, if you bought from us. It shows us exactly what was supplied.
No order reference? No problem. The plate photo is enough to start.

Tell us about the problem here
Pick the topic, then write what the machine is doing in your own words: the model if you know it, how long it has been happening and what you have already tried. We reply on the mobile number you give.
- WhatsApp +91 95822 69346
- Call +91 95822 69346 or +91 98184 38346
- Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- Email [email protected]
What happens after you send it
The usual path for a machine that is misbehaving. Most cases end at step two or three.
We read it and match the machine
During desk hours someone from service opens your message, checks the plate photo and pulls up the build details if the machine is ours.
A call to narrow it down
We ring or video call your operator. Many faults are a dwell time, a tension knob, a guide width or the wrong consumable, and get fixed while we talk.
A part, if one is worn
If a wear part has reached its end, we confirm the exact item, send the price with GST and dispatch from Faridabad once you confirm.
A visit, if the fault needs hands
For sites inside Delhi NCR we book an engineer slot. Outside NCR your own fitter does the work while we guide by video.
We check it is running
After the fix, send one more clip of a good seal, strap or wrap. That closes the case and gives us a record for next time.
Call fix, part or engineer visit: which one you will get
The route depends on the fault and where the machine stands.
| Route | Usually fits when | Where it applies | Your side |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phone or video fix | Settings, wrong consumable, a jam, a tripped switch | Anywhere in India and export sites | An operator standing at the machine during the call |
| Part sent by courier | Worn blade, element, belt, roller, wheel or seal | Any Indian PIN code, delivery free | Fit it yourself with our guidance |
| Engineer visit | Motor, wiring, sensor or air faults; a machine in a line | Delhi NCR sites only | Power, air and the operator ready on arrival |
| Warranty claim | A manufacturing defect inside the warranty period | Handled from Faridabad | Invoice, plate photo and a clip of the fault |
Packing machine not working? Start from the symptom
Pick the line closest to what you see, then send a clip if it is still wrong.
Sealer heats but seal peels
Usually dwell time, a burnt PTFE strip or a dented pad. Work through the impulse sealer troubleshooting steps before ordering an element.
Tape not cut or lifting at a corner
Glue on the blade, a worn roller or a guide set too wide. The carton sealer fault guide covers each case.
Strap loose or not feeding
Check the strap size against the machine setting first. If rollers or the heater blade are worn, see strapping machine parts.
Pallet truck sinks under load
A slow drop points to the hydraulic seal kit; hard pulling points to wheels. Both are on the pallet truck wheels and seals page.
Wrapper tears film or turntable jerks
Film tension, carriage rollers or the turntable drive belt. Compare with the wrapper parts list, then send a clip.
New machine, first start
Setting up something just delivered is a different job. Our installation notes cover levelling, power and the first test run.
Bench sealers: most fixes happen on the phone
Hand, foot and table-top impulse sealers are simple machines, so the fault is usually simple too. A seal that will not hold is far more often a worn PTFE strip, a dent in the silicone pad or a timer set too short than a dead board.
Keep the sealer plugged in and a few spare pouches near you when you call; we will ask for test seals at two or three timer settings, on camera. If the element wire has broken, it is a five-minute swap you can do yourself.
PackForge impulse sealers carry a 2 year warranty on the Standard model and 5 years on the Heavy Duty model, against manufacturing defects. Element wire and PTFE tape are wear items, so they are bought as parts.

Two minutes of checks before you call
Safe for any operator, and often enough to skip the call. Switch off and unplug before touching anything inside.
- Confirm the socket has power and the machine fuse or MCB has not tripped.
- On air-driven machines, read the gauge and listen for a hiss at the fittings.
- Check the consumable: strap width, tape width or film grade the machine was set for.
- Look for tape scraps, film or dust jammed near blades, rollers and guides.
- Note any error code or light on the panel and photograph it.
- Ask the operator what changed since the machine last ran well.
Outside Delhi NCR, and after desk hours
Our engineers travel from Faridabad to sites in Delhi NCR only. We have no service team or office in other cities. For a plant in Pune, Kolkata or Coimbatore, technical support means a video call with someone who knows the model, the right part sent by courier, and your own fitter doing the hands-on work with us guiding.
Messages that arrive after 6:30 PM or on a Sunday are read the next working morning and taken up in order. If a line is completely down, say so in the first line of the message. If a fault turns out to be a defect rather than wear, the warranty terms apply, and an unresolved issue can be logged through raise a complaint.
Questions people ask
What will I have to pay for?
You pay for parts you order and for an engineer visit that is not covered by warranty or an AMC. Each of these is quoted and confirmed with you in writing before anything is booked or dispatched.
Can you help with a machine I did not buy from PackForge?
We will look at it. Send the rating plate and a clip. For common sealing, strapping and wrapping machines we can often advise on settings and tell you whether our parts fit. If we cannot help with that make, we will tell you straight away.
How do I book an engineer visit in Delhi NCR?
Send the plate photo, the fault clip and your full address with PIN code. We first try a call fix. If the fault needs hands on the machine, we offer a visit slot and confirm the charge or warranty status in writing.
What if nobody picks up the phone?
Send a WhatsApp message on the same number. The person you need may be on the shop floor with another machine. Messages are taken up in order during desk hours.
Can I talk to support in Hindi?
Yes. Most calls on this desk happen in Hindi or a mix of Hindi and English. Use whatever your operator is comfortable with, because the operator has to understand the fix.
My machine is under warranty. Do I still contact this desk?
Yes, this is the same starting point. Add your invoice or order reference. If the fault is a manufacturing defect, it is handled under warranty, usually by sending a part. Wear parts such as blades and belts are not warranty items.
Should I keep running a machine that is acting up?
Better not. A slipping belt or a weak seal often damages a second part if the machine is kept running. Stop it, film the fault and message us. A short stop now is cheaper than a bigger repair later.
Machine giving trouble? Send us a clip
WhatsApp the rating plate, a short video and your PIN code to +91 95822 69346, or call +91 98184 38346, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
