Which Bengaluru industries need a carton sealer?

Bengaluru has no single dominant trade, so a carton sealing machine bought here can end up on very different benches. Four groups account for most enquiries from Karnataka:

Peenya: small units with short runs

Peenya, on the north-west edge of the city, is one of the largest industrial estates in Asia by number of units, and most of those units are small. A typical shop machines a few hundred parts a day and boxes them in three or four carton sizes.

For that pattern a full-size line is too much. Two machines fit better:

• Compact sealer. Needs a patch of floor roughly one metre by three-quarters of a metre, plugs into an ordinary single-phase socket and draws around 0.2 kW. A corner of a first-floor shop is enough.
• 102TUS. Its belts close in on narrow parts cartons, as small as 80–90 mm across, so they stay upright under the taping head. Rolls of 36 or 48 mm fit it.

Electronic City, Bommasandra and Jigani: light electronics shippers

The southern belt along Hosur Road holds electronics, electrical and medical device makers. Their outer cartons are light, but they carry printed retail boxes that must arrive without dents or tape marks.

Here the seal has to be straight and centred more than strong. A side-belt machine set to the shipper width keeps the box square while both seams are taped, so the tape does not wander onto the printed face. A 2-inch roll is usually enough for this weight; the 102TU takes 50 mm or 76 mm heads, so one machine covers both light shippers and heavier master cartons.

Hoskote and Nelamangala warehouses: mixed online orders

Large fulfilment and distribution warehouses sit on the highways out of the city, around Hoskote to the east and Nelamangala and Dabaspet to the north-west. Their problem is the opposite of Peenya: one shift may see twenty carton sizes in random order.
