Carton Sealing Machine for Electronics
Electronics cartons are small, light and worth a lot per box, so a seal has two jobs: hold the pack shut and show if anyone has opened it. This page explains how a carton sealing machine for electronics handles both, and where tape alone stops being enough.
What makes an electronics carton hard to seal well?
Most electronics dispatch is a box inside a box. A phone charger or earphone set sits in a printed retail pack, a few dozen of those go into an inner carton, and inner cartons go into a master shipper. Each layer behaves differently on a sealer.
- Small footprint. Accessory cartons can be shorter than the gap between the belts of a standard machine, so they twist or stall.
- Low weight. A light box does not press down on the bottom tape roller, and the lower seal can come out loose if the machine does not grip the sides firmly.
- High value per carton. One opened master carton of phones is a real loss, so receivers check seals closely.
- Labels and barcodes. Serial labels, MRP stickers and courier barcodes sit close to the flap joint and must stay readable.
A carton sealing machine for electronics has to be chosen for the smallest box on the bench first and the busiest hour second.

Tamper-evident sealing: what a tape machine can and cannot do
Buyers often ask for a tamper-proof carton. No carton sealer makes a box impossible to open; a blade goes through any tape. What a machine can do is make tampering easier to spot.
- It can lay every strip in the same position with the same leg length, so a re-taped box looks different from the rest of the lot.
- It can, on the 5050J, add tape along both end edges of the top and bottom faces. That H-seal closes the corners where a flap is usually lifted, and any attempt to open the box shows.
- It can run printed tape that carries your own print, made to order. A cut and re-taped seal no longer matches the pattern.
- It cannot act as a legal security seal. Printed tape makes interference visible; it does not prevent it.
- It cannot protect a product packed loosely inside. Cushioning and dividers do that.
If your buyer's contract calls for numbered security labels or a sealed bag inside the carton, keep those as separate steps after taping.
Why do small electronics boxes slip on an ordinary sealer?
Side belts drive the carton, and they need enough box length and wall to hold. Below a certain size the carton spends too little time under both belts at once. It turns slightly, the tape lands off the joint, and the front leg comes out short.
The 102TUS small carton sealer is set for this range. Its stated minimum carton is 80 to 90 mm, the maximum is 500 x 500 mm, belt speed is 20 metres a minute and it draws 200 W on a 220 V supply with no compressed air. Narrow 36 or 48 mm tape suits small flaps, where a 3-inch strip would hang over the sides.
The compact carton sealing machine suits a smaller seller with one steady accessory carton. It occupies roughly 1,000 x 750 mm and weighs 100 to 120 kg, so two people can shift it between benches. Send your actual smallest box before choosing either.

Which carton sealer for electronics fits your boxes?
Three models cover most electronics work. Each name links to its full specification page.
| Your carton | PackForge model | Key published figure | Rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small accessory and component boxes, steady volume | 102TUS | Cartons from 80 to 90 mm; 36 or 48 mm tape | ₹98,560 + ₹17,741 GST |
| One small carton size, low daily count, tight space | Compact sealer | About 800 to 1,000 cartons an hour on one size | ₹57,500 + ₹10,350 GST |
| Tall master cartons of phones or appliances needing tamper evidence | 5050J edge sealer | H-seal; packs of 2.5 to 30 kg; minimum 320 x 200 x 180 mm | ₹9,40,800 + ₹1,69,344 GST |
Regular master cartons without an H-seal requirement usually run on the semi automatic carton sealing machine at ₹69,730 + ₹12,551 GST. Where box sizes change with every order, a self-adjusting random sealer is the better fit, though it needs air at 5 to 6 bar. All nine rates sit on the carton sealing machine price page.
How do you keep printed retail boxes and labels clean?
Retail packs for electronics are often fully printed, and the person who opens the shipper sees the inner boxes first. A few habits keep them presentable:
- Seal the shipper, not the retail pack. Retail boxes normally close with tuck flaps or a sticker; only the outer carton goes through the machine.
- Set the side guides to hold, not squeeze. Over-tight belts leave rub marks on glossy board.
- Fix label positions away from the flap joint, so tape never runs over a barcode or serial label.
- Use transparent tape on white or printed outers and plain tape on brown master cartons.
- Check tape legs on the first box of each lot. Even legs on every carton make a re-taped box stand out at the receiving dock.
Machine-length rolls, plain or printed to order, are listed under BOPP tape rolls.
Mobile accessories, appliances and components: three different jobs
Mobile accessories. Chargers, cables, cases and earphones leave in many small cartons. Grip on a small box matters most, which points to the 102TUS or the compact model.
Appliances and set-top boxes. Master cartons are larger, taller and stacked high by distributors. A standard top and bottom sealer handles daily volume; the 5050J is worth a look when cartons are tall, fairly light and handled by several parties before delivery.
Components and modules. Boards and modules usually travel in anti-static bags inside the carton. The sealer only closes the outer box. If it will stand inside an ESD-controlled area, mention this at enquiry so placement and earthing can be discussed before installation.

Where should the sealer sit on an electronics dispatch line?
On most electronics floors the order is: pack and count, close flaps, seal, weigh, label, then stack. Put the sealer before the weighing and labelling point, so labels go onto a closed, square carton and are not crossed by tape.
- Keep a short roller table at the outfeed so sealed cartons do not pile up against each other.
- Match infeed height to the packing table; the 102TUS table adjusts within its listed range.
- Keep a spare tape roll and blade beside the machine. A stop during a dispatch cut-off costs more than either.

Electronics clusters we supply, and how support works
Much of India's mobile and electronics assembly sits in two belts: Noida and Greater Noida in the NCR, and the Sriperumbudur and Oragadam stretch near Chennai. Plant-level notes are on our pages for Noida Phase II and Sriperumbudur.
- PackForge manufactures its carton sealers in Faridabad. Delivery is free across India with a GST invoice; metro cities usually receive a machine in about 3 days, other towns in 5 to 6 days.
- On-site service is available in Delhi NCR. Elsewhere, help comes by phone or video call, and spares go by courier.
- Each machine carries a 12-month warranty on manufacturing defects; wear parts are excluded.
What should you send before ordering?
A good recommendation needs a few facts, not a model number:
- Length, width and height of your smallest and largest carton, and a sample of the smallest if possible.
- Typical weight of a filled master carton.
- Cartons sealed in your busiest hour.
- Whether your buyer asks for an H-seal, printed tape or any seal pattern in writing.
- The tape width you buy now.

Questions buyers ask
Which carton sealer for electronics suits small accessory boxes?
The 102TUS, which grips cartons from about 80 to 90 mm and runs 36 or 48 mm tape. A small seller with one steady box size and low volume can start with the compact model instead.
Can a carton sealing machine make a box tamper-proof?
No machine makes a carton impossible to open. A sealer makes tampering visible: even seals, an H-seal on the 5050J and printed tape all show when a box has been cut and re-taped.
Do you supply printed or security tape for electronics cartons?
We supply BOPP tape printed to order with your own design. It makes interference visible at the receiving dock, but it is not a security seal in the legal sense. Send artwork and annual usage for a quote.
Will the tape run over our barcode and serial labels?
It will if labels sit across the flap joint. Place labels on a side panel or away from the seam, and label after sealing so tape never covers them.
Mobile accessories ke chhote dabbe ke liye compressor chahiye?
Nahi. The 102TUS and the compact sealer run on ordinary single-phase power with no air supply. Only the air-driven models, such as the 5050J and the random sealers, need a compressor.
When is an H-seal worth paying for on electronics cartons?
When master cartons are tall, fairly light, high in value and stacked or handled by several parties in transit. For low stacks going straight to your own store, a centre seal is usually enough.
Can one machine seal both accessory boxes and appliance master cartons?
Rarely well. The 102TUS takes cartons up to 500 x 500 mm but only narrow tape. Many units run small boxes on one machine and master cartons on a second.
