Electronics and mobile phone packing
Phase II, Sector 63 and the industrial sectors of Greater Noida are home to many electronics and mobile phone assembly and accessory units. Their outer cartons are light, often printed with the brand, and carry barcodes and labels that have to stay readable. A crooked hand-taped seam across a label becomes a problem the moment the box meets a distributor's scanner.
An ordinary sealer cannot always hold a tiny accessory box, which is the reason the 102TUS exists. It grips packs as small as about 80 mm, adjusts quickly for width and height, and runs at 20 metres per minute on a 220 V supply. For master cartons that hold dozens of retail boxes, the regular 102TU is the usual choice.
Garment export cartons
Noida's garment exporters pack large, light cartons, usually to a buyer's specification that names the tape width and sometimes how far the tape should run down each end. A fixed-size sealer set to that carton repeats the same seal on every box in a shipment, which is what an inspector at the buyer's end looks for. The 102TU takes 2 inch or 3 inch tape, so it can follow either kind of specification.

Tape that suits a printed electronics carton
Electronics brands often ship in white or fully printed outer cartons, and a dull, wandering strip of tape across a clean panel spoils the look before the customer has opened anything. On those boxes, transparent tape keeps the artwork visible, while plain brown tape is fine for corrugated master cartons going to a distributor's godown. Match the width to the box as well: slim retail cartons look tidier with 2 inch tape, and heavy master cartons hold better on 3 inch.

Questions buyers ask
Will a carton sealer grip our small mobile accessory boxes?
The PackForge 102TUS is built for exactly that and holds packs down to about 80 mm. A standard sealer has a larger minimum; the 102TU, for instance, starts at L150 x W170 x H110 mm.
Our export buyer insists on 3 inch tape. Which models take it?
Several do. Both the 102TU and the 102PLS list 76 mm (3 inch) as an option beside 2 inch; the pneumatic 102TR, the flap-folding 5050Z and the 5050J edge sealer can run 76 mm too.
Is there a PackForge service engineer based in Noida?

The tape follows the centre seam on top and bottom, so keep labels clear of that line. Because a machine lays tape in the same position every time, label placement becomes easy to standardise.
