What is built here, and what is not

We are exact about this everywhere on the site, and it matters most on the page about our own city.

Built at our Faridabad works:

• Strapping machines — semi automatic, low table top, fully automatic and arch type, together with pneumatic strapping tools.
• Carton sealing machines — semi automatic, compact and automatic random.
• Box wrapping machines with top press, for stacks that must be held square.
• Turntable stretch wrappers for palletised loads.
• Material handling equipment — hydraulic hand pallet trucks, trolleys, drum carriers and lifters.

What comes from the PackForge range

Filling, capping and can sealing, labelling, vacuum packaging, shrink packaging, sealing machines and skin, blister and cling film equipment are PackForge models. They are supplied, installed and serviced by PackForge Industries, a division of Fulcrum Infratech Pvt. Ltd.

They are not built at our Faridabad works and we do not describe them as though they were. You deal with one company for both halves, and the quotation states which is which without being asked.

We say this plainly because a buyer who finds out later has every reason to doubt everything else he was told.

Bring your carton

The single practical advantage of being in the same city is that you can see the machine run on your own work before you commit to it.

It settles what no specification settles: whether your carton sits square on the table, whether the strap marks your printed board, whether the film force suits your pallet, whether the operator can reach the controls without stretching.

Bring the worst case rather than the average one — the heaviest carton, the tallest pallet, the widest bag. Machines are chosen by the load that gives trouble, not by the one that behaves.

Send the dimensions and weight beforehand so the right machine is set up when you arrive.

The city's industry, sector by sector

Installation, training and the parts that wear

A machine bought in its own city still needs the same three things as one shipped a thousand kilometres: a suitable electrical point, an operator who has been shown how to clear a jam, and the two or three wearing parts on a shelf.

Ask for the wearing-parts list at the quotation stage rather than after the first stoppage. On a strapping machine that is the gripper, the cutter and the heating element; on a carton sealer, the blade.

Training takes a few minutes and saves hours. Have the person who will actually use the machine present at handover, not only the person who signed for it.

There is no service response time printed here, in this city or any other. If one matters to you it belongs in a signed agreement, and we will discuss it there.

Buying at home

The terms do not change because you are nearby. An advance with the order and the balance against despatch is the normal arrangement.

What does change is the delivery time, which is short, and the fact that a machine can come back to the works if something is genuinely wrong with it. That is worth more than any discount we could offer, and it is the honest reason to buy near home.
