Coimbatore ships castings. A pump body, a motor housing or a gearbox is dense, awkward and unforgiving, and it decides the packing long before anyone reaches for a carton.
Pumps, motors, foundry work, textile machinery, wet grinders and a substantial auto-component base — Coimbatore's output is heavy for its size and travels far. The packing question here is almost never about sealing; it is about holding weight to a pallet and moving it without hurting anyone.

A casting concentrates its weight in a small footprint. Put four on a pallet and the pallet is carrying a load that is heavy, high in density and low in friction — it wants to slide rather than to settle.
Film alone will not hold that. What holds it is strap, applied through the pallet or round the load and the pallet together, at a tension a hand tool struggles to reach. A pneumatic strapping tool is the machine for it: compressed air, one action to tension, seal and cut, and a tension that repeats.
Where the parts are boxed first and the boxes palletised, a semi automatic strapping machine handles the boxes and the pneumatic tool handles the pallet. Most Coimbatore units that ship castings end up with both, and it is worth planning for that rather than discovering it.
Strap specification carries the whole load here. Width and thickness decide the break load, and the strap has to be matched to the weight and the journey. Tell us both.
A foundry or machine-shop floor is the hardest environment a pallet truck sees: sand, swarf, oil, and a surface that was level when it was poured. Wheels are what fail, and they fail early.
Polyurethane load wheels last considerably longer than nylon here and should be specified at the order. Capacity should be chosen against your heaviest pallet with a margin — a truck run permanently at its rated load loses its seals early, and the seal kit is a job you would rather not do on a foundry floor.
For drums of oil, coolant and quenching fluid, a drum carrier and lifter with a working safety lock. For everything that is neither pallet nor drum, material handling trolleys.
Coimbatore's textile machinery units ship assemblies that are long, heavy and will never go through an arch — shafts, beams, frames and complete sub-assemblies.
These are crated rather than boxed, and the packing machinery that matters is the strapping tool applied to the crate, plus edge protection where the strap crosses a corner. Nothing about that is exotic, and a supplier who tries to sell you a machine for it is selling you the wrong thing.
Where sub-assemblies are boxed and palletised, ordinary carton and pallet work applies, and a turntable stretch wrapper earns its place on the finished pallet — mainly to keep dust and moisture off during a long journey rather than to hold the load, which the strap is doing.
Coimbatore is about as far from Faridabad as our machines travel within India, and it is worth being straight about what that means rather than pretending distance is nothing.
The machine leaves run-tested and is packed for the journey, which is heavier packing than a machine going to Delhi gets. Prices are ex works, with GST and freight shown separately; the freight line on a South India delivery is a real number and you should see it rather than have it buried in the machine price.
Two things make the distance manageable. First, hold the wear parts that stop a line on your own shelf — they are inexpensive and it removes the distance from the equation entirely. Second, call rather than write when something is wrong; most faults on these machines are settled on the phone with the machine in front of you.
The industrial areas here are dispersed rather than concentrated: SIDCO Industrial Estate at Kurichi, the Peelamedu and Ganapathy belts, Singanallur, Mettupalayam Road towards Annur, and the newer plots at Kaniyur and along the Avinashi Road corridor towards Tiruppur.
Kurichi and Singanallur are foundry and machining; Peelamedu is lighter engineering and increasingly services. The Avinashi Road corridor runs into Tiruppur's knitwear belt, which is an entirely different packing problem and closer to what this site describes for Ludhiana.
Wear parts are held in stock for every model we sell, and nothing about the warranty changes because you are far away. What does change is the sensible amount to keep yourself: on a strapping machine the heating element and the strap guides, on a pneumatic tool the tension wheel and cutter, on a pallet truck the wheels and seal kit.
Send a photograph of the old part when ordering a spare. Part names vary between suppliers and a photograph does not, and at this distance getting the wrong part sent costs a week rather than a day.
