What is a wide conveyor band sealer like the CS900LW / VW?

Sealing works as on any band sealer: bands grip the pouch top, carry it past heaters set up to 300 deg C, then cool and set an 8 to 10 mm seal at up to 12 metre per minute. What changes is underneath. The 840 x 300 mm belt holds a wide base square, so a heavy pack does not lean and drag its mouth out of line. Motor and heaters together use 750 W.

Grocery brands moving up to larger packs of rice, sugar, atta, dal or pet food are the usual buyers. Pick the vertical VW for loose fills that must stay upright and the horizontal LW for bags lying flat. Film is still limited to 0.08 mm. Small pouches run fine on the narrower CS900, and bags beyond 5 kg need the CS1100.

Sealing a large grocery pack on the CS900LW / VW – 4 steps

   Pick the modelRun upright rice, sugar or pulse packs on the VW; lay flat items on the horizontal LW.

   Centre and feedPlace each pouch in the middle of the wide belt and guide its top flat into the moving bands.
