What is a heavy duty band sealer like the CS1680?

Thick film takes more heat to fuse, so the sealing section uses four elements of 300 W each rather than one or two. Bands grip the sack mouth and pull it past these heaters and then through cooling, at 0 to 10 metre per minute. Temperature goes up to 300 deg C and the finished seal is 8 to 10 mm wide. The drive itself draws only 230 W, and the machine runs on a 220 V / 50 Hz line.

Chemical, cement additive, fertilizer and agro-input units closing laminated sacks through long shifts are the intended users. The 1450 x 680 x 1480 mm body weighs 107 kg, so give it a fixed spot beside the filling point. For thin 0.08 mm snack pouches the CS900 is enough, and sacks far heavier than 15 kg belong on the PS700A jaw sealer, which handles 50 kg.

   Check the filmConfirm the sack laminate measures between 0.12 and 0.18 mm before you set up a full run.

   Match the beltSet conveyor speed within 0 to 10 metre per minute; thicker film usually needs a slower pass.

   Feed the sackRest the filled sack, up to 15 kg, on the conveyor and guide its mouth flat and square into the bands.
