Intellectual Property Policy

This page says who owns what on this site, what you may do with it, and what to do if you believe something here infringes your rights. It is written to be acted on rather than to look imposing.

PackForge is the brand of PackForge Industries, a division of Fulcrum Infratech Pvt. Ltd., Faridabad, Haryana.

What belongs to us

The PackForge name and logo, the design of this website, the text written for it, our own machine photographs, our drawings, datasheets and technical documents, and the designs of the machines we make.

Where a machine is designed, assembled and run-tested at our own works, its design and its documentation are ours.

Marks that are not ours

Some names on this site are not ours and are not claimed:

  • Fulcrum Infratech Pvt. Ltd. is the company of which PackForge Industries is a division. Machines listed from the Fulcrum Infratech product catalogue carry that company's names and specifications.
  • Component manufacturers. Where a machine uses a bought-in motor, drive or control component, that manufacturer's name belongs to them and appears only to describe what is fitted.
  • Brands in the bought-in ranges. The agriculture line, and the office, safety and bags ranges, are bought in from other manufacturers. Any brand appearing on a product in those photographs belongs to its owner, and we make no claim to it.

What you may do with our material

Print a page, forward it, circulate a specification inside your organisation, or put a datasheet in front of your engineering team. That is what it is for.

Quote from a page with attribution and a link back.

What you may not do: republish our content as your own, use our photographs in your own catalogue or listing, copy this site's structure and text to build a competing catalogue, or use the PackForge name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse or supply you when we do not.

If you believe we have infringed your rights

Tell us and we will act rather than argue. Send: the page address, which item you mean, what right you hold and how you hold it, and how to reach you.

Material that we cannot show a right to will be taken down while we look into it. We would rather remove something for a week and be wrong than leave something up that is not ours to publish.

This matters here in particular: the bought-in ranges are photographed from supplied images, and if one of those images is yours we want to know.

If you want to use our material

Distributors, dealers and trade publications regularly need our photographs and copy, and the answer is usually yes.

Ask on +91 95822 69346, say what you want and where it will appear, and you will get a clear yes or no rather than silence.

This is a first draft prepared for PackForge Industries and should be reviewed by the company's own legal adviser. Note that the PackForge brand is not yet registered as a trade mark; that should be settled before go-live.

Photographs on this site, and where they came from

Worth being specific, because it is where most catalogue websites are careless.

Machines we build are photographed by us and those images are ours. Machines listed from the Fulcrum Infratech catalogue use that catalogue's photographs and specifications, with the catalogue named on the page. The bought-in ranges use images supplied to us for the products concerned.

Where a product photograph shows another manufacturer's branding, that branding belongs to them. It appears because it is on the product, not as any claim by us. If an image on this site is yours and should not be here, tell us and it comes down while we check.

Counterfeit machines and misuse of our name

If you are offered a machine described as PackForge from anyone other than us or an appointed distributor, check with us before you pay. A counterfeit is usually spotted by the paperwork rather than the machine: no GST invoice, no serial plate, or a warranty offered by somebody with no works behind it.

If somebody is using the PackForge name, our photographs or our documents to sell something we did not supply, tell us. That is a problem for you as much as for us, because the machine you receive will not be one we can support.

Questions we are asked

Can I use your product photographs in my listing?

Ask first. For distributors and dealers the answer is usually yes, and we will send you better files than the ones on the site.

Is PackForge a registered trade mark?

It is the brand of PackForge Industries, a division of Fulcrum Infratech Pvt. Ltd. Ask us for the current position before you rely on it in a document.

A brand name appears on a product photograph. Is it yours?

No. In the bought-in ranges any brand on a product belongs to its owner. We make no claim to it.

How do I report an infringement?

Send the page address, what you believe was used, and proof of the right you hold, to +91 95822 69346. We will take it down while we look into it.

Can we say we are a PackForge distributor on our website?

If you are appointed, yes, and we will give you the wording and the logo files. If you are not, ask us about becoming one rather than using the name.

We found our photograph on your site. What now?

Tell us the page and how you hold the right, and it comes down while we check. We will not argue about it first.

Can we photograph the machine in our plant and use it in our own marketing?

Yes — it is your machine and your plant. If our name or logo is visible and you would like the correct logo file, ask and we will send it.

May we translate your datasheet for our local market?

Ask first and the answer is usually yes for an appointed distributor. Send us the translation before it is published — a specification mistranslated is a warranty claim waiting to happen.

Need permission, or need something taken down?

Call +91 95822 69346 and it will be dealt with.
