When a carton is light and valuable, the packing stops being about strength and becomes about three other things: identity, tamper evidence and shock.
Strength still matters, but not in the way a steel shop needs it. A light carton crushes rather than bursts, and it crushes because something heavy was stacked on it by somebody who could not tell what was inside.
Say what is inside without saying what is inside. Mark the stack limit and the handling requirement clearly; do not advertise the contents on a carton that will stand in a transport godown overnight.
Strap the outer. On a light high-value carton the strap is evidence more than strength, and it is the thing a receiving store looks at first.
A great deal of Bengaluru's engineering happens in units of a few hundred square metres, several of them in one compound, each doing one operation well.
That produces a specific packing pattern: parts travel between units many times before they leave the city, in reusable bins and trays that nobody owns and everybody loses.
Where inter-unit movement is constant, the money is in trolleys, trays and a discipline about returning them — not in a machine. We would rather say so than sell a machine into a problem it does not fit.

That makes every unnecessary centimetre a charge on every shipment. Right-sized cartons, correctly nested inners and a stack that fills the pallet are worth more here than in any road-freight city.
Air also means pressure and temperature changes. Sealed bags inflate, pouches strain at their seals, and a seal that is adequate on the road can open in a hold.
Test a pack the way it will travel. Where seals are marginal, a wider seal or a different film is the fix, not a tighter machine setting.
Where boards and modules are handled, the protective bag matters more than the carton, and ordinary polythene is not a protective bag.
A sealing machine closes whatever bag it is given; it does not turn an ordinary bag into a shielded one. That distinction is worth stating because it is where money gets spent in the wrong place.
Cushioning works by giving a product distance to stop in. A carton packed solid transmits a drop straight through, which is why goods arrive damaged inside undamaged boxes.
Drop a packed sample onto concrete from bench height, once, deliberately. It is the cheapest test in packaging and almost nobody does it.
Faridabad to Bengaluru is a long road move, and it is priced as one. The machine leaves run-tested and packed for the distance; the price is ex works with GST and freight shown separately.
Hold the wearing parts locally. At this distance a part that has to travel turns a small fault into a lost week, and the parts in question are inexpensive.
