What is a box wrapping machine with top press?

The load sits on a turntable and a press plate comes down onto its top surface. As the table turns, a film carriage on the mast travels up and down, laying stretch film round the stack in overlapping bands. Because the stack is pinned in place, the film pulls tight around boxes that cannot move. Output is roughly 20 to 40 boxes an hour, depending on box size and wrap count, and the power draw is about 0.4 to 0.75 kW from a 230 V single phase point.

Textile bundles, plastic goods, food cases and stacks of small cartons gain most, since such loads tend to settle and slacken the film later. Keep corner boards handy for sharp-edged loads. Leave room for a hand truck to reach the table; the frame covers about 1,500 x 800 mm and weighs 250 to 350 kg. For single rigid boxes the BW600 without press is simpler, and full pallets need the turntable pallet wrapper.
