What is a 10 inch impulse sealer?
Bakeries often come to the 10 inch after an 8 inch has let them down on a loaf bag. The 250 mm bar takes the standard 8 × 10 inch bread bag with a little margin on each side. This Standard version suits a bakery, home baker or cloud kitchen that packs in batches after each bake rather than nonstop through the day.
Day to day it closes pav and rusk packs, 9 × 12 inch clear pouches of khari, cookies or 500 g dry fruits, and counted bags of screws and washers in hardware shops. Medicine-size 6 × 9 inch covers fit too, so a shop selling both large and small packs needs just this one machine for mouths up to 9.5 inch.

What is in the box
10 inch sealer, 2 spare elements, spare Teflon tape, manual.

Which bags and pouches fit the 10 inch sealer?
Bag mouth laid flat: 240 mm (9.5 inch) or less closes on the 10 inch bar in one press.

Who buys the 10 inch model
- Bakeries – bread, pav, rusk and khari bags in 8 × 10 and 9 × 12 inch sizes.
- Cloud kitchens and caterers – sealing dry items, rotis and snack portions for delivery.
- Dry-fruit and spice shops – 250 g to 500 g clear pouches for the counter and gifting.
- Home bakers selling cookies and cakes online; see our food packet sealing guide.
- Small namkeen makers stepping up from the 8 inch to 500 g packs.
- Hardware and spare-parts sellers packing screws, fittings and small parts.
Bread and rusk bags, 10 inch bar
- Let fresh bread cool fully before bagging; steam inside the bag wets the mouth and gives a weak, cloudy seal.
- Fold the spare length of a 9 × 12 inch pouch flat so its mouth lies straight across the 250 mm bar.
- Crumbs from rusk and khari gather on the Teflon tape, so brush them off between batches, not only at closing time.
- For gifting pouches, seal a little below the top edge so the pack can be trimmed neatly with scissors afterwards.
Looking after the 10 inch bar
Bakery work leaves crumbs, flour and sugar on the bar, so give the Teflon strip a quick brush after each batch and a careful look before you lock up. A strip that has gone brown or lifted at an edge will mark the seal; peel it off and fit the spare. Bread and pav bags are usually thin LDPE or PP, so keep the dial in the lower range and raise it only for heavier cookie or dry-fruit pouches. If seals stay weak even after the strip is changed and the dial raised, the 250 mm element has probably thinned out and is due for replacement from the spares.

When to leave the 10 inch
Step back to the 8 inch only if every pack is a small pouch and counter space is tight. Move up to the 12 inch when 10 × 12 inch garment or namkeen bags appear, as their 254 mm mouth will not fit. The Standard 10 inch is fine for packing after each bake; a bakery sealing from the first tray to the last should look at the Heavy Duty 10 inch.
10 inch impulse sealer price in India
Standard 10 inch: ₹1,573 + 18% GST (MRP ₹2,099, 25% off). Heavy Duty 10 inch: ₹2,573. 5 pieces in the cart: ₹1,416 each.

Bought the 10 inch impulse sealer?
10 inch impulse sealer – frequently asked questions
Can it seal the foil pouches used for coffee?
No. Foil coffee and chips pouches need constant heat, which a hot bar sealer provides. This impulse model is made for polythene and PP bags, including laminates with a PE inner face.
Is the bar safe to keep near cooks in a cloud kitchen?
The element heats only during the press and cools between seals, so there is no hot plate sitting on the counter. Still keep fingers clear of the bar during the pulse and keep the machine away from water.
Which dial number suits a standard bread bag?
Bread bags are thin film, so begin at a low number and raise it a notch at a time till the seal no longer peels when pulled. Thicker bakery bags need a higher number on the 8-level dial.
How heavy is it, and can it be moved between counters?
It weighs 2.4 kg, light enough to move between a bakery kitchen and the sales counter. Carry it by the body rather than the arm, and let the bar cool before packing it away.
Will it seal the printed PP bags some bakeries use?
Yes. Print on the outside does not affect the seal as long as the inner face is plain PP or PE. PP bags are often a little thicker than LDPE, so raise the dial a step if the seal peels.
Is 250 mm enough for 1 kg bread or cake packs?
It depends on the bag mouth, not the weight. A 1 kg loaf in a 9 × 12 inch bag fits, since that mouth is under 9.5 inch; family-pack bags of 10 inch or wider need the 12 inch model.
