Can more than one packer use it during a shift?
Yes, two or three packers can share one machine, since the bar is cold between presses. Agree on a dial setting for each mailer type so the seal stays consistent whoever presses the arm.
Will it seal a 2 kg grocery bag?
Yes, 2 kg packs in 14 × 20 inch LDPE bags are one of its standard jobs. Support the filled bag on the table while sealing and let the seal cool before lifting the pack by its top.
Do warehouses need a separate stock of spares for Heavy Duty units?
No. The Heavy Duty 16 inch takes the same heating element and Teflon tape as the Standard 16 inch, so a mixed fleet keeps one stock. Both parts wear with use and are replaced when needed.
Can it reseal opened returns?
If the old mailer has enough length left above the cut, a new seal can be made just below it. If not, put the item in a fresh mailer and seal that one instead.
Can it seal kit bags with several items inside?
Yes, as long as the items sit well below the mouth and the bag lies flat across the 400 mm bar. Pack bulky or sharp items so they do not press against the seal line while it cools.
Is the HD 16 inch easy to move between packing tables?
At 4 kg it can be moved, but on a dispatch line it is more practical to give each busy table its own sealer. Frequent moving also strains the cord and plug over time.
