What is a manual cup sealing machine?

The filled cup sits in the die with a pre-cut lid laid over its rim. Pulling the lever lowers a heated plate onto the lid, and that heat, drawing about 300 to 400 W, bonds the film to the rim all the way round. Lifting the lever releases the closed cup. Done by hand, this gives roughly 300 to 400 cups per hour, depending on how fast cups are filled and placed.

Dairies, curd and lassi sellers, juice counters, bubble tea shops and cloud kitchens sealing cups to order are the usual users. The 250 x 250 x 550 mm body weighs about 7 to 9 kg and plugs into a 230 V counter point. Each cup size needs its own die, so share the rim diameter first. For bags and pouches, use an impulse sealer in its place.

   Let it heatSwitch on at a 230 V point and give the sealing head time to warm before the first cup.

   Seat cup and lidSet the filled, cooled cup in the die and lay a pre-cut lid squarely across its rim.

   Pull the leverBring the lever down firmly, hold it briefly, then lift and take out the sealed cup.
