One fills, one seals: HD 12 inch
- Seat the sealing operator so filled pouches slide in from the filler's side, and nobody has to reach across the bar.
- Begin each shift at dial 4 or 5 for plain PE namkeen pouches, then fine-tune after the first few packs.
- If the unit also runs Standard 12 inch machines, keep one shared box of elements and tapes for all of them.
- Fit a fresh Teflon strip as soon as seals show a rough or patchy line, rather than waiting for the month end.
Running the HD 12 all shift
On a namkeen line, set the HD 12 inch so the filling station, weighing scale and sealer sit in one row and pouches move one way only. A two-person team settles into a rhythm faster when the sealing operator does nothing else. Every two hours, pull-test a pouch from each operator and wipe oil and masala dust off the Teflon strip. On long, fast runs, step the dial down if the seal looks glossy or thin. At the end of each shift, note the dial number and any spare used, so the next team starts on the same setting and stock stays known.
Standard twin or a different size

Can the Heavy Duty and Standard 12 inch share spares?
Yes. Both use the same heating element and Teflon tape, so a unit running both versions needs to stock only one set. Each machine also arrives with two spare elements and one spare tape.
Is it suitable for a 10-hour shift?
It is built for continuous use across a long working day. On a fast line, watch for heat building up in the bar and lower the dial a step if the seals begin to look thin.
Does it seal metallised namkeen film?
No. Metallised chips and namkeen film needs constant heat from a hot bar sealer. Plain PE, PP and PE-lined laminate pouches are the right films for this impulse bar.
Can garment exporters use it for shirt covers?
Yes. LDPE covers up to 11.5 inch wide seal well when laid flat with the folds smoothed out. Bulk lots sealed before carton packing are a typical Heavy Duty job.
Can it seal 1 kg rice and dal packs through the day?
Yes. Grocery bags of 10 × 14 inch fit within the 11.5 inch limit. On a wholesale bench, settle each bag and keep grains below the seal line, since one stray grain in the seal leaves a leak path.
Can I switch between namkeen pouches and garment covers in one shift?
Yes, but the films differ, so reset the dial when you switch and make one test seal. Clean any oil off the Teflon strip before sealing garment covers, so no mark transfers to the cover.
