What is a low table top strapping machine?

It works like any semi automatic table, only lower. The head pushes out a length of PP strap; the operator loops it round the bundle and feeds the tip back in. The head then tightens, seals and cuts in about 1.5 to 2.5 seconds, which works out to roughly 1,200 straps an hour. It draws about 0.25 kW from a 230 V single phase supply, so an ordinary socket usually does the job.

Garment units, courier counters and online sellers who strap in between other work are the usual buyers. It needs a floor patch of roughly 895 x 565 mm and weighs 70 to 85 kg. Keep tension moderate on soft goods. When cartons turn heavy or strapping fills a whole shift, move up to the arch type semi automatic machine or the 740H.

Strapping a bundle on the compact low table – 4 steps

   Match the benchSet the table within 330 to 450 mm so bundles slide over level from the bench you pack on.

   Square the stackLine up the edges of the bundle before strapping; a loose stack slumps however tight the strap is.

   Loop and feedWrap the strap the head has fed out round the middle of the bundle and push the tip in.

   Let it sealIn 1.5 to 2.5 seconds the strap is tightened, sealed and cut. Lift the bundle off and carry on.
