What is a heavy duty strapping table like the 101HD?

The extra strength sits in the parts that take punishment. Dense cartons slide over a 2.5 mm top that resists denting, and strap runs through an iron roller housing instead of a lighter one. A standard micro switch starts the cycle once the strap tip is pushed home, and the head then tensions at 450 Newton, seals and cuts. A 1/4 HP motor on 220 V drives the whole table.

Hardware packers, auto parts suppliers, tile units and metal goods firms fill this table with boxes that are small but weigh a lot. At 100 kg the frame stays planted under that work. Strap must be 6 to 15 mm wide. If your cartons are light, the 101H / 101L does the same job; when tension control from 15 to 45 kg matters, compare the 740H.

   Centre the packSquare the box over the strap slot so the strap runs clear of sharp corners and protruding edges.

   Wrap and insertBring the fed-out strap round the carton and press its tip into the head to trip the micro switch.

   Check the jointThe cycle ends in about 1.5 seconds at 450 Newton. Tug the strap lightly to confirm a firm seal.
