What is a semi automatic strapping table like the 101H / 101L?

Below the table top sit a strap dispenser and a motor-driven head. After every cycle the head pushes out a fresh length of strap. The operator takes it round the pack and slides the tip back into the slot, and that starts the work: tension up to 450 Newton, a sealed overlap and a clean cut. Strap from 6 to 15 mm wide runs on it, driven by a 1/4 HP motor on 220 V.

Pick the 101H for a standing despatch bay where cartons come off trolleys or pallets, and the 101L where packers work at a low bench beside the line. Both cope with small packs down to 60 x 30 mm, and each weighs about 90 kg. For heavy, sharp-edged goods all day, step up to the 101HD; pallets and long loads need a hand tool instead.

Strapping a carton on the 101H / 101L – 4 steps

   Pick your heightOrder the 750 mm 101H for standing work, or the 500 mm 101L to sit level with a low packing bench.

   Load the strapFit a coil between 6 and 15 mm wide in the dispenser and feed its end into the head.

   Loop and insertPlace the carton, take the length the head has fed out, wrap it round and push the tip home.

   Seal and slide offIn about 1.5 seconds the head tightens, seals and cuts. Slide the carton away; the next strap comes out.
