What is an offline automatic strapping machine like the 101F?

A strap coil feeds into a closed track that runs inside the arch. On each cycle the head drives strap all the way round that track, catches the front end, then draws the loop tight against the carton at a force you choose between 25 and 700 Newton. The head joins the overlap and cuts the strap free. It accepts 9 or 12 mm strap, and the working table stands 830 mm high.

It suits units whose cartons reach packing in batches from stores, assembly or finishing rather than on a belt. Even an 80 x 50 mm pack fits under the arch, so small boxes cause no trouble. Plan a three phase 440 V point and floor room for a frame of 1420 x 650 mm weighing 235 kg. Where cartons flow on a conveyor all day, look at the 101FF online model instead.

Strapping a carton on the 101F – 4 steps

   Load the coilThread 9 or 12 mm strap from the dispenser into the head; the first cycle carries it round the arch.

   Set the forcePick a strap force inside 25 to 700 Newton. Light board needs a low figure; firm bundles can take more.

   Place the cartonSlide the pack onto the 830 mm table, square it under the arch, and start the automatic cycle.

   Remove and repeatAfter about 2 seconds the strap is sealed and cut. Turn the carton for a second strap if you need one.
