What is an online fully automatic strapping machine like the 101FF?

The machine table takes each carton from the infeed conveyor and brings it to rest beneath an arch that spans up to 850 x 600 mm. Strap is driven round the arch track, then the head pulls it in to a force set between 25 and 700 Newton, joins the two ends and cuts. The table then sends the carton on. Its working height is 830 mm, so both conveyors must meet it level.

It fits FMCG, beverage, pharma and e-commerce plants where cartons follow one another without gaps. Packs must measure at least 200 x 30 mm; anything smaller belongs on the hand-fed 101F. Plan a 440 V supply, a 1420 x 650 mm footprint and a pallet truck to move its 260 kg. If the site has only single phase power, compare the Touch HMI automatic machine.

Running cartons through the 101FF – 4 steps

   Match the conveyorsSet infeed and outfeed conveyors level with the 830 mm table so cartons pass in and out without a step.

   Load one strap widthFit a 9 mm or 12 mm coil, and keep that same width for the whole shift wherever possible.

   Set force and strapsChoose a strap force between 25 and 700 Newton and decide whether each carton gets one strap or two.

   Let the line runStart the conveyor. Cartons enter, are strapped in about 2.15 seconds and leave untouched. Keep an eye on the coil.
