Wrapping Machine Spares

A stretch wrapper has two moving systems and the spares follow both. The film carriage is the one that wears: rollers the film runs over, the belts that drive them, and the parts that set and hold tension. When wraps start coming out loose or the film keeps breaking, this is where to look.

The turntable is the other: drive chain, motor, gearbox and bearings, which take the weight of every pallet you have ever wrapped. These fail slowly and noisily rather than suddenly.

Then the electricals - switches, sensors and control boards for the models in our range - which are what stop the machine outright.

Choosing the right one

Machine model plus a photograph of the part. Carriage rollers in particular look alike across models and are not, so the photograph is what makes the order right first time.

If film is breaking, replace the roller and check the tension setting together. Fitting a new roller onto a tension unit that is set too high just wears the new roller.

If the turntable is noisy, ask for an engineer rather than ordering bearings. Noise from a drive is a symptom with several possible causes and buying parts in sequence is the expensive way to find out which.

What this range will not do

These are parts for the machines in our range. For another make, send the model plate and a photograph and we will give you a straight answer.

New parts will not correct a wrapper that is being asked to wrap loads it was not specified for. If the machine has been struggling since your pallet weight went up, that is the conversation to have.

And spares are not a service contract. If you want scheduled attention rather than parts on demand, ask on the enquiry.
