On a dispatch floor that runs all shift, a mechanical linkage slowly drifts and seals start to vary. The 102TR uses pneumatic action for folding and taping, so its movement repeats at the end of a long day just as at the start.
Load it with BOPP, PVC or water free tape, 48, 60 or 76 mm wide. Electrical draw is 220 W on 220 V / 50 Hz; the air requirement reads 2 / 3 litre at 5 bar. It weighs 150 kg.

Air at 5 bar drives the top head and side guides. When a carton arrives, the guides close on its sides and the head drops to its height, so the box is held square under both tape heads. Belts carry it through at 24 m per minute while tape is laid on each seam and cut. The guides then open for the next carton. The motor draws just 220 W, and the air demand is listed as 2 / 3 litre at 5 bar.
It belongs on dispatch bays where the order decides the carton and a compressor is already running. Tape choice is flexible: BOPP, PVC or water free adhesive tape in 48, 60 or 76 mm width. The table height moves from 600 to 780 mm to line up with roller conveyors. With no air on site, the electric 102TU fits better, and cartons smaller than its minimum go to the 102TUS.
The 102TR suits a floor that seals continuously, not in short bursts, and where carton size follows the order rather than a plan. A warehouse dispatch bay or busy fulfilment line with compressed air already piped is its natural home.
Start with air, not speed. Note line pressure at the point of use, hose length from the compressor, and whether other machines share it. Dry, filtered air counts as much as pressure; a starved sealer gives a seal that looks fine and fails later.
Without a compressor, or in a tenancy, office building or shared upper floor where one cannot go in, skip it; an electric fixed sealer such as the 102TU is the honest choice there. Boxes under 180 x 100 mm suit the smaller-carton 102TUS.

Sometimes yes, sometimes not, depending on what else it feeds and the hose distance. Settle the question at enquiry stage rather than after the 102TR is standing on your floor.
