What Is a Continuous Band Sealer?
A continuous band sealer closes the open mouth of a filled pouch while the pouch keeps moving. Instead of pressing one bag at a time between two jaws, the machine grips the top of the bag between a pair of running belts and draws it past heated blocks, so an operator can feed pouch after pouch without waiting for a press cycle.
That is what separates it from an impulse sealer or a foot sealer. A hand machine suits a few hundred packs a day; once a packing table turns out bags faster than one person can press them, the band sealer takes over and the seal stays the same on the first pouch and the last.
How Does a Continuous Band Heat Sealer Work?
Every PackForge band sealer follows the same path from open pouch to finished seal. Once the heat and belt speed are set for the film, the operator only has to place the pouch.
Three settings decide the result: temperature, belt speed and the seal width of the model (8–10 mm on most, 6–12 mm on the CS1100 and CVS900). Thicker film needs either more heat or a slower belt; if a seal peels apart, slow the belt down before turning the heat up. The conveyor under the bag simply carries its weight, which is why each model has a load limit.

Continuous Band Sealer with Nitrogen Flushing & Vacuum
Fried snacks, roasted coffee and dry fruits lose crispness and aroma when the air left in the pouch reacts with them. Two PackForge sealers change the air in the pouch before it is closed. Gas flushing does not sterilise food or replace good pouch film; it slows down staling. Use a laminate with a proper barrier layer, or the gas will escape through the film over the following weeks.

Heavy Duty Continuous Band Sealer for 10–15 kg Bags
The CS900 family carries packs up to 5 kg. Bags heavier than that move to one of two reinforced machines:
For sacks heavier than 15 kg, a conveyor sealer is the wrong tool. The PS700A pneumatic sealing machine closes bags of up to 50 kg between air-driven jaws, 2 to 10 times a minute. It needs a compressed air supply, which the belt sealers do not.

- Do you print a date or batch? The CS900 embosses a date; the CS1100 prints one with a steel wheel. Fix the format before ordering.

A band sealer runs for years when its few wear parts are changed in time. The two that wear in normal use are the conveying belts and the heating elements; both are excluded from the warranty because they wear with use, and both are kept in stock at Faridabad.
- Belts: there is no fixed change interval. Replace them once you see a cut, a shiny glazed surface or stretching, because a tired belt stops holding the films flat.
- Seal getting weaker at the same setting? Rule out the temperature and belt speed first, then the belts, and only then the heating blocks.
- End of the shift: clear powder and oil from the belts and guides so it does not bake onto them the next morning.
- Spares on the shelf: one spare set of belts beside the machine turns a breakdown into a quick change.
- Safety: switch off and wait for the heating zone to cool before any cover is opened.
