What the price of a band sealer depends on
What happens besides the seal. The plain CS900 is the starting point. Blowing air or nitrogen in (CS900AF) or drawing a vacuum and back-filling with gas (CVS900) adds a pump or a gas line and costs more.
How much the belt carries. A 3 kg pouch rides on the standard 153 mm belt; a wider or heavier pack needs the 300 mm belt of the CS900LW / VW, the reinforced frame of the CS1100 or the four-element CS1680.
The film. Ordinary pouch film up to 0.08 mm seals on most models; thick laminates and woven sacks of 0.12 to 0.18 mm need the CS1680.
Versions. The CS900, CS900AF, CS900LW / VW and CVS900 come in more than one version, so their rows say “from”; the product page lists each one.
Before you compare rates
Weigh a filled pack, note the film thickness and whether the product must stand upright, and count how many you seal an hour. Those four answers usually leave one or two rows in this table. Running costs to plan for
The moving belts and heating elements are wear parts and are excluded from the 12-month warranty, so keep a small stock. Power draw differs by model: 650 W on the CS900, 750 W on the CS900LW, 835 W on the CS900AF, 875 W in total on the CVS900 and 1235 W on the CS1100.
