Cup Sealing Machine – Manual Cup & Glass Sealer for Curd, Lassi, Juice & Bubble Tea Cups

Seal curd, lassi, juice and bubble tea cups with a film lid that does not leak in delivery. Price, how it works, cup sizes and dies, and how to choose – from the maker in Faridabad.

Quick answer: a cup sealing machine closes a filled cup with a film lid, so curd, lassi, juice or bubble tea can be carried, stacked and delivered without spilling. PackForge sells a lever-operated manual cup sealer, the PF-BIS-03, at ₹5,500 + ₹990 GST. It seals about 300 to 400 cups an hour on an ordinary 230 V socket, with a sealing die made for your cup.

MRP ₹7,640. Rate before GST, GST and total; delivery free to any PIN code in India.

The rate covers the machine with one sealing die cut for the cup you name, a GST invoice from Fulcrum Infratech Pvt. Ltd. and 12 months of warranty on manufacturing defects. Buying for more than one outlet lowers the rate in the cart: 2 pcs 3%, 3 pcs 5%, 4 pcs 7.5%, 5–49 pcs 10% and 50 pcs or more 15% off. A registered business can claim the 18% GST back as input credit.

Not included: cups and lid film, which come from your packaging supplier, and a second die if you serve two cup sizes – ask for it with the machine so both arrive together.

What Is a Cup Sealing Machine?

It is a small counter machine that puts a sealed film lid on a plastic or paper cup after it is filled. Where a snap-on lid can pop off in a delivery bag, a heat-sealed lid stays bonded to the whole rim, so the cup can be tipped, stacked or carried by a rider without leaking. The same machine is often searched as a cup packing machine, glass sealing machine or cup sealer; all of them mean a machine that fixes a lid onto the mouth of a cup.

Cup sealers come as manual (lever), semi-automatic and fully automatic rotary machines. For a shop, dairy counter or kitchen that seals a few hundred cups a day, the manual type is the usual choice: it is cheap to buy, needs no air compressor and fits on a counter.

How Does a Manual Cup Sealing Machine Work?

Inside the head is a heater that warms a flat sealing plate. Below it sits a holder with a die – a ring shaped exactly to your cup's rim – that keeps the cup steady and lets the rim take the pressure. The working cycle is short:

  1. Switch on and wait for the head to come up to sealing heat.
  2. Drop the filled cup into the die, so its rim rests on the die edge.
  3. Place one pre-cut lid centrally over the cup.
  4. Press the lever down and hold for a moment; heat and pressure fuse the lid's coating to the rim.
  5. Lift the lever and take out the sealed cup. A good seal shows an even ring with no gaps or wrinkles.

Because one person does every step, speed depends on how quickly cups and lids are loaded – about 300 to 400 an hour for a practised operator.

Cup Sizes & Sealing Dies – Will It Fit Your Cup?

The die decides which cup a machine can seal. It is made to the outside rim diameter of your cup, so the cup sits firmly and the lid is pressed evenly all the way round. A cup that is even a few millimetres off will sit loose and seal badly, which is why we make the die only after we know your cup.

  • Measure the rim: take the outer diameter across the top lip of the cup, in millimetres.
  • Send a photo or a sample cup: rim shape and lip width matter as much as the diameter.
  • Tell us the cup material: PP, PET, paper or other – the lid film has to match it.
  • Two sizes? One machine can seal both with a die change; order the second die with the machine.

Dairy, lassi and bubble tea cups vary from one cup maker to another even when the volume is the same, so always quote the measured rim rather than only “200 ml” or “500 ml”.

Cup Sealer vs Impulse Sealer vs Induction Sealer – Which One Do You Need?

All three are “sealing machines”, but each closes a different pack. Choose by the container, not by the name:

If you sell the same product both in cups and in pouches, you need two machines: a cup sealer cannot close a bag, and an impulse sealer cannot put a lid on a cup.

Filling Cups Before Sealing – Pair with a Mini Liquid Filler

The cup sealer only closes the cup; filling is a separate step. Many counters pour by hand, but when every cup must carry the same quantity, a small filler speeds things up and stops overfilling – a wet rim is the most common reason a lid does not stick.

The MLF200 Mini Liquid Filler sets the dose on a keypad from 5 ml to 2000 ml, with steadiest fills between 5 and 1000 ml and about ±2% precision. The liquid stays inside the tube, it draws only about 40 W, and it sits on the same counter as the cup sealer: fill, wipe the rim if needed, then seal. It suits free-flowing drinks such as juice, lassi, chaas and water; set curd is usually spooned or set in the cup itself.

How to Choose the Right Cup Sealing Machine

  • Cups per day: at 300 to 400 cups an hour, one manual machine seals roughly 2,500 to 3,000 cups in an 8-hour day; for more, plan a second unit so two people can seal side by side.
  • Number of cup sizes: each size needs its own die, so list every cup you serve.
  • Cup and lid material: confirm the lid film suits your cup before ordering lids in bulk.
  • Hot or cold product: hot drinks and fresh curd should cool before sealing.
  • Space and power: a 250 x 250 mm base and a normal 230 V socket are all the PF-BIS-03 needs.
  • Support: buy where dies, heater parts and service are available after the sale.

Send these details on WhatsApp to +91 95822 69346 and we will confirm the die and the machine before you pay.

Cup Sealer Dies, Spare Parts & Service

Extra dies, heaters and other wear parts for the cup sealer are supplied by PackForge, so a new cup size or a worn part does not mean a new machine. Wear parts are held in stock for every model we sell, and our team can guide you over a call or a WhatsApp video if the seal quality changes. Other parts and kits for PackForge machines are listed on machine spare parts.

Cup Sealing Machine – FAQs

What is a cup sealing machine?

A cup sealing machine seals a film lid onto the rim of a filled cup using a heated die. You place the cup, lay a pre-cut lid on top and pull the lever; heat and pressure bond the lid to the rim. It is used for curd, lassi, juice and similar cups.

What is the price of a cup sealing machine in India?

The PackForge Manual Cup Sealing Machine (PF-BIS-03) costs ₹5,500 + GST (₹6,490 including GST). Bulk discounts apply from 2 pieces, and delivery is free across India.

How many cups can it seal per hour?

About 300 to 400 cups per hour. Because it is hand-operated, actual output depends on how fast the operator loads cups and lids.

Will the machine fit my cups?

The sealing die is made to match your cup rim. Send us the rim diameter and a photo or sample of the cup with your enquiry, and we will make the die to suit it.

Can one machine seal two different cup sizes?

Yes, by changing the die. If you run both sizes every day, order both dies together with the machine.

Which lids does a cup sealing machine use?

It seals pre-cut film lids. Share your cup material and a lid sample when you enquire, so we can confirm the lid and the cup will seal well together.

Can it seal hot tea or freshly set curd?

Let hot contents cool first. Steam condenses under the lid and can make the seal wet or loose.

Does the cup sealing machine also fill the cups?

No, it only seals. Fill the cups by hand or with a filler such as the MLF200 Mini Liquid Filler, then seal them on the cup sealer.

What power supply does it need?

A standard 230 V, single-phase socket. It draws about 300–400 W and does not need compressed air.

What warranty comes with a cup sealing machine?

12 months on manufacturing defects. Wear parts are not covered, and PackForge keeps them in stock for replacement.
