Compact Carton Sealing Machines

The compact carton sealer is the same principle as the standard semi automatic machine, built smaller: for small cartons, lighter volumes and benches where the standard machine would not fit or would be more machine than the work needs.

It is the machine for an online retail brand shipping small boxes, a cosmetics or nutraceutical packer, a spare parts counter, a workshop despatching components - anywhere the carton is small enough that a full-size sealer is oversized but the volume is high enough that hand-taping has become the slowest step on the bench.

The footprint is the practical argument. It sits in the space a packing table already occupies, so it can go in without rearranging the room.

Choosing the right one

Send the smallest and the largest carton you seal. Compact machines have a narrower size window than the standard model, and the smallest box is as important as the largest - a carton below the machine's minimum will not be gripped properly by the belts.

Then the volume. If you are sealing steadily through a full shift, the standard semi automatic machine is the better buy even where the compact one would physically cope; it is built for that duty.

And the tape width your store already buys, so the head is quoted for it.

What this range will not do

It is not a small version of the random sealer. It still seals one set size at a time.

It is not for heavy cartons. A box that is heavy for its size can be pushed rather than carried by the belts.

And it does not fold flaps or erect cartons - the box arrives packed and flaps folded.
