PackForge DT0.5 Drum Carrier

What is a chain-clamp drum carrier?

The frame is shaped to the curve of a standard drum 572 mm across and about 915.5 mm tall. The operator stands the carrier against the drum, passes the chain around the body and tightens the clamp. Leaning the handle back moves the weight onto the wheels, and the drum travels standing up. It is lifted only as far as the wheels need, which keeps the load low and steady.

It suits sites where every drum is the same size, such as oil depots, workshops, paint shops and chemical stores. The lighter version weighs 50 kg and the heavier one 110 kg, so choose by your fullest drum. It cannot raise a drum onto a stand. Raising a drum calls for the drum carrier and lifter or the rim-gripping DT0.3.
