What is a 10 kg vertical band sealer like the CS1100?

The bag travels upright on a reinforced belt while two bands pinch its open top and pull it along. The film passes heated blocks set anywhere up to 300 deg C, then cooling blocks, then the steel printing wheel. The belt moves at any pace up to 12 metre per minute, and the seal can be anything from 6 to 12 mm wide. The sealing head moves up or down to suit each bag height, and the whole unit draws 1235 W.

Atta, rice, cattle feed and fertilizer packs that wobble on a light pouch sealer are its main work. Weighing and filling still happen before the belt, so pair it with a filler or a weighing table. Packs under 3 kg suit the smaller CS900, while thick laminated woven sacks need the CS1680 with its 0.12 to 0.18 mm film range.
