What is a foot operated impulse sealer like the FS series?

Pressing the pedal brings the jaw down and sends a short pulse of current through the element. Heat lasts only for the time set on the timer, from 0 to 2.5 seconds, and the bar then cools under pressure so the 5 mm seal sets before release. Pulse power rises with length: 1200 W on the FS350, 1250 W on the 450, 1500 W on the 650 and 1800 W on the FS800.

Food, grain, garment and chemical units closing medium to large bags at a standing station use it most. Choose the length one step above your widest bag mouth; the FS800 weighs 29 kg and the FS350 just 19 kg. For foil or thick laminate, the constant-heat FS300D / 400D suits better, and nonstop runs belong on a CS900 band sealer.

Sealing a grain bag on the FS series – 4 steps

   Pick the lengthMatch the model to your widest bag: 350, 450, 650 or 800 mm, leaving some margin on each side.

   Set heating timeStart with a short pulse and raise it toward 2.5 seconds only as the film gets thicker.

   Hold the bagStand square at the pedestal and use both hands to lay the bag mouth flat across the bar.

   Press and waitPush the pedal, keep it down a moment after the pulse ends, then lift to release a set 5 mm seal.
