What is a heavy duty 24 inch impulse sealer?
Wide bags and long shifts together are the hardest work a hand sealer does, and that pairing is what the Heavy Duty 24 inch is for. Its 600 mm bar and 700 W element close blanket covers, grain liners and industrial poly bags as wide as 23 inch with a single press, and the machine is backed by a 5-year warranty.
It is built for home-textile exporters who seal 20 × 30 inch blanket and quilt covers through the day, and for grain traders closing the 22 inch liner of every sack that leaves the godown. Industrial lines over-bag parts and cartons with it, sellers of cushions and pillows close large covers, and contract packers run it on long shifts.

What is in the box
24 inch sealer, 2 spare elements, spare Teflon tape, manual.

Who buys the Heavy Duty 24 inch model
- Home-textile exporters sealing blanket and quilt covers through the day.
- Grain traders sealing liners for every sack that leaves the godown.
- Industrial packing lines over-bagging parts in bulk.
- Large e-commerce sellers of cushions, pillows and soft furnishings.
- Contract packers running wide bags on long shifts.
Long shifts with 600 mm bags
- Build a support shelf level with the bar on both sides; a quilt cover should never hang from the seal.
- With two operators, one squares the cover across the bar while the other presses and holds the arm through cool-down.
- Tape wear can appear anywhere along 600 mm, so look over the entire strip at each shift change.
- Grain dust and textile lint gather along the bar; clean its full length before the next shift begins.
Long shifts at 24 inch width
Lay out the bench so a wide cover can travel straight: a support shelf on the infeed side, the HD 24 inch in the middle and a clear landing area on the far side. With two operators, agree on a simple count for press and hold so every 600 mm seal gets the same cool-down. At each break, look along the whole Teflon strip for scorch marks or lifting edges, and wipe off lint and grain dust. Late in a long run, lower the timer a step if seals turn glossy. Record each element and strip change, and reorder spares before the last one goes in.
Heavy Duty 24 inch: right for you?
A textile shop that bags a batch of blankets once or twice a week will do fine with the Standard 24 inch and its 2-year warranty. Pick Heavy Duty when wide covers are sealed through every shift. If the widest bag is 19.5 inch or less, the Heavy Duty 20 inch is lighter, at 4.8 kg against 5.9 kg. Covers beyond 23 inch need a foot sealing machine.
Heavy Duty 24 inch impulse sealer price in India
Heavy Duty 24 inch: ₹6,425 + 18% GST (MRP ₹8,599, 25% off). Standard 24 inch: ₹5,425. 5 pieces in the cart: ₹5,783 each.

Heavy Duty 24 inch impulse sealer – frequently asked questions
How do I get an even seal across the full 600 mm?
The bar heats its whole length in one pulse. An even result depends on the bag lying flat and taut, a clean Teflon strip and the right dial number, so check both ends of the seal during each shift.
Is Heavy Duty worth it for a grain godown?
If liners are sealed for every sack that goes out, often for hours at a stretch, yes. For occasional resealing of a few liners, the Standard 24 inch is enough.
Can it handle soft furnishings like pillows?
Yes. Pillows and cushions in large poly covers seal well once the air is pressed out towards the mouth. Bulky items are easier when a helper holds the cover straight.
What spares should a long-shift unit keep?
Heating elements and Teflon tape are the wear parts. Two extra elements and one extra tape come in the box; a unit on long shifts should reorder before the last spare is fitted.
How many operators does the HD 24 inch need?
One person can seal rigid over-bags alone. For soft quilt and blanket covers, two people work more evenly: one squares the cover across the 600 mm bar while the other presses and holds the arm.
Can it seal grain liners in a dusty godown?
Yes, but dust is the main risk. Keep the machine on a covered bench away from the unloading point, shake dust out of each liner mouth before sealing, and clean the bar at every break.
