What is a heavy duty 10 inch impulse sealer?
A bakery that seals bread from the first tray at dawn to the last one at night wears out a sealer differently from one that packs once a day. That is the buyer for the Heavy Duty 10 inch: the same 250 mm bar and 2 mm seal as the Standard version, built for all-day counter work and backed by a 5-year warranty.
Its regular jobs are 8 × 10 inch loaf and pav bags, 9 × 12 inch pouches of rusk, khari and cookies, mithai and namkeen bags in the festival season, and 250 to 500 g dry-fruit packs at wholesale. Cloud kitchens seal portions for each delivery slot, and contract packers run it on two shifts. Mouths up to 9.5 inch fit.

What is in the box

Who buys the Heavy Duty 10 inch model
- Bakeries that seal bread and rusk bags from the first batch to the last.
- Sweet shops packing mithai and namkeen boxes and bags through the festival season.
- Cloud kitchens and tiffin services that seal portions for every delivery slot.
- Dry-fruit wholesalers re-packing 250 g and 500 g pouches by the hundred.
- Contract packers who run the sealer on two shifts.
HD 10 inch on two shifts
- Hand over the sealer between shifts with a clean Teflon strip and a note of the dial number in use.
- On fast runs the bar holds some heat between presses; drop the timer a step if seals look thin or shiny.
- Use one table for filling and another for sealing, so bags reach the 250 mm bar flat and free of crumbs.
- Write down the date each element is changed; the log shows how fast your volume uses up wear parts.
Long shifts on the HD 10 inch
In a bakery running two shifts, the HD 10 inch sits well at the end of a straight line: cooling rack, bagging, then the sealer. One operator bagging and one sealing keeps the 250 mm bar in a steady rhythm, without long idle gaps or sudden rushes. Check the Teflon strip at each shift change and brush off crumbs every hour. On long fast runs, watch for shiny or thinned seals and lower the timer a step. Note element and strip changes in a register kept with the machine, so the next shift knows when spares were last used and can reorder in time.
Matching the 10 inch to your volume
If the bakery packs only after each bake and the sealer rests most of the day, the Standard 10 inch gives the same seal with a 2-year warranty. Keep the Heavy Duty for counters that seal from morning to night. For pouches no wider than 7.5 inch, the Heavy Duty 8 inch is smaller; for 10 × 12 inch garment or namkeen bags, the Heavy Duty 12 inch is needed.

Heavy Duty 10 inch impulse sealer – frequently asked questions
Why choose Heavy Duty for a bakery?
Bakeries rarely seal in one short session; bread, rusk and cake bags come off the line all day long. The Heavy Duty model is built for that kind of continuous use, with a 5-year warranty behind it.
Can a cloud kitchen seal gravy packets on it?
Dry items, rotis and snacks give the cleanest seals. Liquid or oil at the mouth spoils the seal, so if you pack gravy, keep the top inch dry and clean and test a few packs before a full delivery slot.
How often will the heating element need changing?
That depends on the number of seals, the film thickness and the timer setting, so there is no fixed figure. The element and Teflon tape are wear parts; two spare elements and a spare tape come with the machine.
Will mithai boxes fit?
Rigid boxes themselves are not sealed on an impulse sealer, but the poly bag or pouch a box goes into can be, as long as its mouth is under 9.5 inch wide.
Can one HD 10 inch serve both the bakery floor and the sales counter?
Where both points are busy all day, a sealer at each saves carrying it back and forth and breaking the packing rhythm. At 2.4 kg it can still be moved when one point goes quiet.
Will it seal warm toast or rusk packs straight off the line?
Let them cool first. Warm product steams the bag and leaves moisture at the mouth, which weakens the seal and fogs the pack. A cooling rack placed before the sealing table solves this.
