Induction Sealer - Bottle Cap Foil Sealing Machine
An induction sealer bonds the aluminium foil inside a cap onto the mouth of the bottle – through the closed cap, without touching it. You get a leak-proof seal that shows if the bottle was opened. Which size do you need?
Measure across the top of your largest cap (its outer diameter). Choose the first model whose range covers that figure. Every model also seals small caps down to 20 mm, so one machine can handle all the bottles you fill as long as the biggest cap fits.
| Order this sealer | If your largest cap measures |
|---|---|
| 20–80 mm or Heavy Duty 20–80 mm | up to 80 mm – most PET, HDPE and glass bottle caps |
| 20–100 mm or Heavy Duty 20–100 mm | 81 – 100 mm – wide jars and containers |
| 20–130 mm or Heavy Duty 20–130 mm | 101 – 130 mm – large jars, tins and buckets |
| Continuous induction sealer (IS200) | Bottles moving on a conveyor line |
How an induction sealer works
The control box sends a high-frequency current to a copper coil inside the hand-held head. When the head is held over a capped bottle, the coil sets up a magnetic field that heats only the aluminium layer of the liner – not the plastic cap.
The heat melts the coat under the foil, and the foil bonds to the rim of the bottle. Nothing touches the foil and the cap is already on, so the product inside is sealed in clean.
- Check the cap – The cap needs an induction liner inside (foil facing the bottle). Screw it on firmly and evenly.
- Set the time – Set the sealing time on the digital display. Start short, seal one bottle and peel it to check.
- Hold the head over the cap – Place the head flat and centred over the cap and press start. The foil heats and bonds to the rim.
- Next bottle – Lift the head and move on. The counter shows how many bottles you have sealed.

Standard or Heavy Duty?
All six PackForge hand-held induction sealers work the same way and use the same kind of digital control box. Two things differ: the largest cap they seal, and the duty.
- Standard – for a few hundred bottles a day or occasional use. 12-month warranty. From ₹4,999 + GST.
- Heavy Duty – seals faster and is made for heavy work: long shifts, high daily output, one machine keeping up with a filling line. 5-year warranty. From ₹7,999 + GST.
Caps and liners – what a good seal needs
Most sealing problems come from the cap or the setting, not the machine. Check these before anything else.
- No induction liner – a plain cap or a cardboard-only wad will not seal. The liner must have an aluminium layer.
- Wrong liner for the bottle – the heat-seal coat must suit the bottle material: PET, HDPE, PP or glass.
- Loose or uneven cap – the foil must be pressed on the rim all round; a loose cap gives a patchy seal.
- Time too short or too long – too short and the foil does not stick; too long and it burns or the cap deforms. Increase the time until the foil peels off in one clean piece.

Questions we are asked about induction sealers
What does an induction sealer do?
It bonds the aluminium foil liner inside a cap onto the mouth of the bottle or jar. The head sits over the closed cap and never touches the foil, so the seal is made after the cap is screwed on. The buyer sees a peel-off foil that shows the bottle has not been opened.
Which induction sealer size do I need?
Measure the outer diameter of your largest cap. Up to 80 mm, take the 20–80 mm model; up to 100 mm, the 20–100 mm; up to 130 mm, the 20–130 mm. All three also seal small caps down to 20 mm.
What is the difference between Standard and Heavy Duty?
Both seal the same cap sizes in the same way. The Heavy Duty model seals faster and is made for heavy, all-day work, so it carries a 5-year warranty instead of the 12 months on the Standard model.
Will it seal any cap?
Only caps that have an induction liner inside: a layer of aluminium foil with a heat-seal coat facing the bottle. A plain cap will not seal. Send us a photo of your cap on WhatsApp and we will tell you before you order.
Does bottle height matter?
No. The head is held in the hand and goes to the bottle, so short jars and tall bottles are sealed the same way, with nothing to adjust.
How much does an induction sealer cost in India?
The Standard models cost ₹4,999, ₹5,999 and ₹9,499 for 80, 100 and 130 mm caps. The Heavy Duty models cost ₹7,999, ₹9,499 and ₹12,999. GST at 18% is added on top, and delivery is free.
