What is a heavy duty induction sealing machine?
The control box sends a high-frequency current to a copper coil inside the hand-held head. Held over a capped bottle, the coil heats only the aluminium layer of the liner, not the plastic cap, and the liner melts onto the rim. Nothing touches the cap and there is no height setting – the head goes to the bottle.
The Heavy Duty model does the same job as the standard model, but seals each cap faster and is made for heavy work: long shifts, high daily output and continuous use on a busy packing line. That is why it carries a 5-year warranty.
Sealing a bottle – 4 steps
- 1Check the capMake sure the cap has an induction foil liner inside and is screwed on firmly.
- 2Set the timerSwitch on and set the sealing time on the digital display. Seal one bottle and peel the foil to check it bonded all round.
- 3Bring the head downPlace the sealing head flat over the cap and press the trigger. The foil heats and bonds to the rim in a moment.
- 4Move to the next bottleLift the head and go on. The counter shows how many bottles you have sealed.

Choose Standard for a few hundred bottles a day or occasional use. Choose Heavy Duty when the sealer runs most of the shift, or when one machine has to keep up with a filling line.
Caps and liners – what the seal needs
An induction sealer seals only caps that carry an induction liner: a layer of aluminium foil with a heat-seal coat facing the bottle. Plain caps without the liner will not seal. The liner must suit the bottle material (PET, HDPE, PP or glass) and the cap must be tightened the same way every time.
- Tighten caps evenly; a loose cap gives a patchy seal.
- Keep the head flat and centred over the cap.
- Start with a short sealing time and increase it until the foil peels off cleanly in one piece.
