What is a single chamber vacuum packing machine?

The chamber has a fibre top lid. The operator lays pouches with their mouths across the two sealing bars and lowers the lid. A pump empties the whole chamber, so the pouch does not balloon, and then the heated bars press a 10 mm seal. Sealing power is 500, 750 or 1000 W to match the 400, 500 or 600 mm bar. The three models weigh 110, 125 and 150 kg.

Sweet shops, dry fruit traders, food processors and component suppliers packing daily batches use it to keep out moisture and stretch shelf life. Gas flushing can be added when ordering. If loading is quick but packers stand waiting for the lid, the VP2SB double chamber is the next step. Small counter lots fit the VP260 table top unit better.

Packing dry fruit on the VP single – 4 steps

   Pick the bar lengthMeasure your widest pouch lying flat and choose the VP400, VP500 or VP600 with a bar longer than it.

   Fill and placeFill the cashews or almonds, leave room at the top, and lay two pouches with mouths straight across the bars.

   Close and runLower the fibre top lid. The pump empties the chamber, then the bars heat up and press a 10 mm seal.

   Inspect the sealLift the lid, check that each pouch is tight with a clean, flat seal, and load the next two.
