PackForge Adjustable Manual Seeder with Fertilizer Box

What is a manual seeder with fertilizer box?

As you push, the ground wheel turns a seed plate under the seed box. Each hole in the plate picks up seed and lets it fall into the furrow, so spacing depends on which plate is fitted. A second box of about 5 litre releases fertilizer in the same run. The seed box holds roughly 4 to 5 litre, and you can set sowing depth anywhere between about 30 and 80 mm.

Groundnut, maize, soybean, pulses and most vegetable seeds sow well with it on small holdings, seed plots and demonstration fields. Even rows let you run a mini power weeder or a hand hoe between the lines later. The seeder weighs only 10 to 13 kg, so one person can carry it to the field. Prepare a level, clod-free bed first, since rough ground spoils depth control.
