An appliance carton is large, light and expensive, and it is judged by a customer who sees the box before the product. A dented corner sells nothing.

Surajpur and Site V in Greater Noida hold appliance, electronics and general manufacturing plants on large planned plots, shipping mostly to distributors and retail rather than directly to users.
PackForge Industries builds box wrapping, strapping and handling machines at Faridabad. This page is about the big light carton — the shape that fails on its edges.
A tall carton carries its stack load on its vertical edges. Not the faces, not the tape — the four corners.
That is why a carton that seems strong collapses in a warehouse: the edges were damaged in handling, and a damaged edge carries almost nothing.
Corner protection and careful handling do more than a heavier board grade, and they cost less. Where cartons are palletised, corner board under the film is the single most effective thing available.
Ask what stack height your goods actually see in a distributor's warehouse. Design for that rather than for your own godown, which is almost always lower.
A stack of light cartons springs. Wrapped without pressure, it settles afterwards and the film that was tight becomes slack.
A top press holds the stack down while the film goes on, so the wrap is made against a compressed stack rather than a springy one. When the press lifts, the film is holding what it was meant to hold.
It matters most with exactly what is made here: tall, light, uniform cartons stacked several high on a pallet.
It is not a substitute for a good stack. A press applied to a badly built pallet compresses a bad shape and the load still moves.
Retail goods are chosen from a shelf, and the carton is on that shelf. Print quality, cleanliness and squareness are part of the product.
Straps mark printed board. Where an outer must be strapped, use corner protection and moderate tension, or use film instead — the mark reads as damage to a customer even when nothing inside is affected.
Handling marks come from dirty machine surfaces more often than people think. Wipe the table, the belts and the press pad; a black smear on a white carton is a rejection.
Where a carton has a handle or a perforation, check that the wrap does not run across it. A customer who cannot open the box the way it was designed to open will open it some other way.
Plants of this size finish goods faster than a bench can pack them, and the packing area becomes the constraint at exactly the wrong moment.
Where output is steady, machinery pays quickly. Where it is campaign-based — a run of one model, then a changeover — flexibility is worth more than speed, and changeover time is the number to ask about.
Plan the staging area for a full shift's output. A packing line with nowhere to put finished pallets stops as surely as one with a broken machine.
Ask what happens when the wrapper stops. On a single-machine line the answer should be written down before it happens rather than discovered.
At this size the purchase is a project rather than a transaction: layout, utilities, commissioning and training all matter, and all of them are easier to arrange before the machine arrives.
Tell us the pallet size, the carton dimensions, the stack pattern and the output per shift. Those four numbers choose the machine; the model number in your mind does not.
Ask for the wearing parts list and hold the items that stop the line. On a wrapper that is the film carriage and the turntable drive.
Prices are ex works from Faridabad with GST and freight quoted separately. Greater Noida is a straightforward road move from us.
The vertical edges carry the stack load, and a damaged edge carries almost nothing. Protect the corners and design for their stack height, not yours.
It holds a springy stack down while the film goes on, so the wrap is made against a compressed stack. Without it the film goes slack as the stack settles.
Use corner protection and lower tension, or use film instead. A mark reads as damage to a retail customer even when the product is perfect.
Machine surfaces. Wipe the table, belts and press pad on a schedule — it is a rejection every time and it is entirely preventable.
Pallet size, carton dimensions, stack pattern and output per shift. Those four numbers choose it.
Not always. Where cartons are large, uniform and unloaded by hand at the far end, a strapped block without a pallet ships more units per vehicle. Ask the receiving end before deciding.
Send your carton size, load weight or line speed and we will tell you which machine fits — including the times when the cheaper machine is the right answer. Prices are ex works from our Faridabad works; GST and freight are quoted separately against your delivery address.
