Noida Phase II — the sectors from roughly 80 to 91, along with the adjoining industrial plots — holds electronics and mobile assembly, injection moulding and plastics, garment manufacture, and a set of packaging converters supplying the rest.

An electronics shipper is opened by the person who will use what is inside it, and that changes the standard it is held to. A seal that has been dragged on by hand looks like what it is.
Static is the constraint nobody puts on a datasheet. Where boards or components are being packed, the bag, the liner and sometimes the operator's own footwear are part of a controlled arrangement, and a packing machine that sits inside that area has to not disturb it. Tell us if the machine is going inside a static-controlled zone — it changes where it can stand and how it is earthed, and it is far better raised at the enquiry than discovered at commissioning.
Tamper evidence is the second one. Several Phase II customers ship to buyers who require a seal that shows if the box has been opened. That is a tape and a pattern question rather than a machine one, and the machine has to be able to run the tape the buyer specifies. Send the specification and we will confirm against it.
For items bagged before boxing, band and impulse sealing is the range; for retail-facing packs, skin, blister and cling film.
An injection moulding unit ships bulk that weighs almost nothing. Cartons are large, pallets are tall, and the load's problem is that it wants to lean rather than that it wants to burst.
That is a wrapping job, and specifically a top-press job. A box wrapping machine with top press holds the stack down while the turntable turns, which is the mechanical answer to a mechanical problem; adding film to an unstable stack is not.
Where the pallet is stable and the run is steady, an ordinary turntable stretch wrapper is enough, and the setting that matters is film force rather than wraps.
Regrind and scrap movement inside the unit is a trolley job, and it is worth having the right trolley rather than the nearest one.
A machine that is inconvenient does not get used. It gets walked past, and the work goes back to being done by hand beside it — usually within three weeks, and usually without anybody reporting it.
That is the real risk on a Phase II floor, where shifts change, operators are not always permanent and nobody is standing over the line. It is worth designing against rather than hoping about.
Three things decide whether a machine survives contact with a real shift. Whether changing a setting takes a tool — if it does, it will not be changed. Whether the tape roll can be replaced without stopping the line for ten minutes — the core size and the loading path matter more than anyone expects. And whether the machine sits where the work already flows, rather than where there happened to be floor.
That last one is a layout question and it is the one we can help with before you buy. Send a photograph of the packing area with the enquiry, not just the carton size. Half of what makes a machine stick is where it stands, and it is far cheaper to get right on a photograph than after the electrical point has been run.
Several Phase II occupants sit inside export-oriented arrangements, and the paperwork for a machine supply into one is not the paperwork for an ordinary domestic sale.
Raise it while we are quoting rather than when the invoice is raised. It is a routine request and it costs nothing at that stage; corrected afterwards it costs a week and somebody's afternoon.
The machine itself comes from the Faridabad works, which is a river crossing away. Freight is quoted as its own line so you can see what the machine costs and what getting it to you costs, and if you would rather send your own vehicle that is perfectly normal on this route.
More sealing complaints turn out to be tape than machine, and the two causes are almost always the same.
The core. Tape comes on different core diameters, and a machine's tape head expects one. A cheaper roll on the wrong core does not fit, or fits badly and runs off-line, and the operator's fix is to go back to a hand dispenser. Check the core before the price.
The winter. Adhesive on BOPP tape is temperature-sensitive, and a Noida January morning is cold enough to matter. Tape applied to a cold carton in an unheated area tacks less, and the box that seemed fine at eight opens at eleven. The fix is not stronger tape — it is letting the tape and the cartons reach room temperature before the run, and keeping the roll off the floor.
If seals are failing seasonally rather than constantly, that is the answer, and it costs nothing to test. If they are failing constantly, send us a photograph of the seal and the roll label and we will tell you which of the two it is.
We supply BOPP tape by specification and will match the core your machine already takes rather than asking you to change the machine.
That is a layout and a convenience problem, not a discipline one. If changing a setting needs a tool, or the tape roll takes ten minutes, the machine will be walked past. Send a photograph of the packing area and we will look at where it stands.
Usually you would rather not — the strap marks the print. That puts the weight on an even seal and on tape quality instead.
A top press, not more film. The press holds the stack down while the turntable turns.
The documentation, not the machine. Tell us at the enquiry stage — it is easier from the start than corrected later.
If it is, say so at the enquiry. It changes where the machine can stand and how it is earthed, and it is much better raised then than discovered at commissioning.
