Price list: rate, GST amount and MRP

The rate is the selling price before tax. GST is charged at 18% on top of it; the amounts below are rounded to the nearest rupee, exactly as they appear on each product page. MRP and the discount percentage are also taken from the product pages.

So when a quotation says ₹69,730 + ₹12,551 GST, the cheque you write is ₹82,281, made up of the ₹69,730 rate and ₹12,551 tax. Freight is not added on top, because delivery is free across India.

Why one sealer costs ₹57,500 and another ₹9,40,800

The cheapest and the dearest machine on this list both put tape on a box. The gap in price comes from how much of the work around the tape the machine takes over, and how heavy it has to be to do it.

• Manual size setting. The compact, semi automatic, 102TUS and 102TU are set by hand for one carton size. No sensors and no air system keep them between ₹57,500 and ₹1,07,520 + ₹19,354 GST.
• Pneumatic auto size adjustment. The 102TR and the auto size adjust random sealer read each carton and reposition themselves with air cylinders and valves. That control system is why they cost ₹2,50,880 and ₹3,19,270 + ₹57,469 GST.
• Flap folding. The 5050Z adds a mechanism that closes all four top flaps before taping. At ₹3,11,808 + ₹56,125 GST, part of what you pay for is the operator it frees up.
• Edge sealing. The 5050J applies tape to the centre seam and both end edges, needs 850 W and stands on a 400 kg frame. That is a far bigger machine, and at ₹9,40,800 + ₹1,69,344 GST it is priced like one.
• Strapping built in. A strapping arch is a complete machine of its own, so the 102PLS, which tapes and straps in one pass, costs ₹4,04,992 + ₹72,899 GST.
• Small-carton handling. The 102TUS costs more than the compact model because it grips packs down to 80 mm and adds quick width and height adjustment with roller infeed and outfeed.

What each budget buys

If you start from a figure rather than a feature list, this is how the range breaks down by rate before GST:

A higher band is not automatically a better buy. If every carton you ship is the same size, paying extra for automatic size adjustment buys you nothing.

Running cost: tape, wear parts and air

The purchase price is paid once; tape is bought every month, so it is worth estimating before you order. Measure how much tape goes on one carton, top plus bottom including the clips at each end, and divide the roll length by that figure. That gives cartons per roll, and the roll price divided by that number is your tape cost per box. A machine lays the same length on every carton, which usually wastes less than a person pulling tape off a hand dispenser. Machine-length BOPP tape rolls are available from us in the widths these heads take.

Cutter blades, rollers and drive belts wear in normal use and are replaced from time to time. They are not part of the warranty, which covers manufacturing defects for at least 12 months, but they are held in stock and listed under carton sealer spares.

Electricity is a small line item, since power ratings run from about 0.2 kW for the compact model up to 850 W for the 5050J. The pneumatic machines also need compressed air, so if your floor has no compressor, add one to the budget.

GST input credit on a carton sealer

Every PackForge machine is billed on a GST invoice raised in your company name against your GSTIN. For a GST-registered business using the sealer in its own operations, the 18% charged is normally available as input tax credit, which brings the real cost down to the rate itself. Your accountant will confirm how it applies to your books.

Take the 102TU as an example. The invoice shows ₹1,07,520 plus ₹19,354 GST, a total of ₹1,26,874. Once the ₹19,354 is set off against your output tax, the machine has cost you ₹1,07,520. A buyer without GST registration pays the full inclusive amount.

Discounts on more than one machine

Quantity discounts are applied automatically in the cart on our product pages: 3% for two pieces, 5% for three, 7.5% for four and 10% for five to 49 pieces.

Larger requirements, meaning 50 pieces upward or an order value of ₹5 lakh or more, are priced by our head office directly. That suits companies equipping several warehouses or franchise outlets at once. Free delivery still applies to every location.
