The printer is the PackForge Bluetooth thermal label printer (model PFA-MPR-H-K). It is the only thermal printer PackForge sells; we do not list 80 mm receipt printers or 4x6 inch shipping-label printers.

What decides a thermal printer price

Print width. Wider printers cost more; ours prints on 58 mm rolls. Resolution. Ours has 304 DPI, made for crisp barcodes. Connection. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs with a phone, so no computer is needed. Battery. A 750 mAh rechargeable battery with USB Type-C charging lets it work away from a socket. What comes with it. Ten rolls are included, so the first labels cost nothing extra.

When comparing any two thermal printers, put these five points side by side before the price; a cheaper printer that is too narrow for your label costs more in the end.

Buying more than one

Shops with several counters and courier teams with several riders often buy in numbers. The rate drops in the cart as the quantity goes up – first at 2 pieces, then at 3, 4, 5 and finally at 50 – and above 50 pieces you can also ask us for a rate. The invoice is raised against your GSTIN so the GST can be claimed.

Running cost after you buy

A direct thermal printer uses no ink, toner or ribbon. Paper is the only thing it uses up: ten 58 mm rolls come in the box, and after that you buy 58 mm thermal rolls; plain paper does not print. PackForge does not sell the rolls separately at present, so buy them from a stationery or packaging supplier. Charging uses a USB Type-C lead.

To compare with what you spend today, count the labels you print in a month and what the ink or pre-printed stickers for them cost; with a thermal printer that line becomes the cost of 58 mm rolls alone.

Is this the right printer for the price?

Good value for stickers, price tags, date labels, stock barcodes and counter slips; poor value for A6 or 4x6 inch courier labels, colour work, or marking a pouch or bottle directly – that needs an inkjet coder with a solvent ink cartridge (₹3,099 + ₹558 GST). The fit is explained in full on the thermal label printer page and in the thermal printer buying guide.

What arrives for the price

One box, 0.67 kg packed: the printer itself, about 12 × 12 × 8 cm and 0.57 kg, with ten 58 mm thermal rolls. The battery is built in and charges over USB Type-C. The model is PFA-MPR-H-K (SKU PF-MPRHK), and the 2-year warranty starts from your invoice.

Price compared with an ink label printer

An ink printer can be cheap to buy and costly to keep, because cartridges or toner have to be replaced. A direct thermal printer has no ink at all; the thermal paper is the only consumable. For short labels printed one at a time – price tags, date stickers, stock codes – that usually makes a thermal printer the cheaper machine to run. For colour labels, or labels wider than 58 mm, it is not the right tool at any price.

Price checklist before you pay

  • Width: will your label fit within 58 mm?
  • Colour: is black on white enough?
  • Phone: does it pair over Bluetooth 5.0?
  • Rolls: where will you buy 58 mm thermal rolls after the ten included?
  • Invoice: do you need it raised against your GSTIN for input credit?
  • Quantity: buying for several counters or riders? The cart rate falls as the count rises.

Warranty and support after purchase

The printer carries a 2-year warranty. If a label prints faint or the printer does not pair, check first that a 58 mm thermal roll is loaded the right way up and the cover is closed fully, then that the battery is charged. If it still misbehaves, send a photo of the printed label and the model name on WhatsApp to +91 95822 69346, Monday to Saturday, and we will help narrow it down.

Who usually buys at this price

Three groups account for most orders: sellers running an online shop from home who need a few dozen shipping stickers a day, small retailers – kirana, gift and stationery shops – tagging prices on the counter, and delivery teams labelling parcels on the move. For all three, a battery printer that pairs with a phone and never needs ink is the whole point, and the price is set for a small business rather than a factory.

Thermal printer or labelling machine?

The names sound alike but the jobs differ. A thermal printer makes the label; a labelling machine puts ready-printed labels onto bottles or boxes on a line. PackForge lists the RBL round bottle labelling machine at ₹42,112 + ₹7,580 GST, the FBL PN flat bottle labeller at ₹1,13,792 + ₹20,483 GST and the ALM online automatic labeller at ₹2,99,264 + ₹53,868 GST. If your labels are already printed and the problem is applying them fast, that is where to look; if you need to print short labels yourself, the thermal printer is the tool.

How to order

Order from the product page and pay online through Razorpay, or ask for a written quotation for a dealer or bulk order. It ships free; most metro addresses receive it in about three days. Unsure about the label width? Send a photo of the label you need on WhatsApp to +91 95822 69346.
