Hand Impulse Sealer Machine (8 to 24 Inch – Standard & Heavy Duty)

A hand impulse sealer is a table-top bag sealer that you operate by pressing the arm down. Current flows through the heating wire only for the few seconds the arm is pressed, so the bag mouth melts and fuses, then cools under the same pressure into a clean seal. Because it heats only on demand, there is no warm-up time.

Choose the size by the widest bag mouth you seal. The maximum bag mouth is 190 mm on the 8 inch, 240 mm on the 10 inch, 290 mm on the 12 inch, 390 mm on the 16 inch, 490 mm on the 20 inch and 590 mm on the 24 inch model. The 12 inch is the most common choice for shops.

Both seal the same bags at the same size. The Heavy Duty model has a stronger body for all-day counter or dispatch use and carries a 5-year warranty, while the Standard model carries a 2-year warranty and suits normal daily use.

PackForge hand models give a 2 mm seal, which is enough for poly bags and thin pouches. If you need a wider 5 mm seal for thicker liners or heavier bags, the FS series foot sealer is the better machine.

It seals PE, PP, LDPE, HDPE and PE-lined laminates up to about 150 micron. It is not made for aluminium foil or metallised film; for those pouches a continuous band sealer is the right choice.

Heater power is 215 W on the 8, 10 and 12 inch models, 500 W on the 16 inch, 600 W on the 20 inch and 700 W on the 24 inch. It draws power only during each sealing pulse and runs on a normal 230 V single-phase socket.

The heating element and teflon tape are wear parts and need replacing from time to time depending on daily use. An element-plus-teflon kit costs ₹249 for the 8 inch to ₹499 for the 24 inch, and PackForge keeps them in stock.

Standard models carry 2 years and Heavy Duty models 5 years on manufacturing defects; the heating element and teflon tape are not covered. An unused machine in its box can be returned within 7 days with free pickup.
