What Is a Power Sprayer Machine?
A power sprayer machine replaces hand pumping with a small petrol engine that drives a pump, so pressure at the nozzle stays constant through the whole tank. Growers use it for pesticides, fungicides and liquid nutrients on cotton, paddy, vegetables, fruit crops and plantations. The HTP unit is also popular for washing poultry houses, cattle sheds and vehicles.

The knapsack power sprayer is the usual first purchase for an individual farmer. If a full 20 litre tank is too heavy for the person spraying, the lighter GX35 is the easier option. For tall trees or long hose runs, only the HTP delivers enough flow.
How to Select the Right Model
- Work out the acreage. Multiply the area by the sprays per season to see how much tank volume you will move.
- Check the crop height. Row crops need a short lance; mature mango or citrus trees need HTP pressure and hose.
- Locate the water. The farther the source, the more each refill costs in walking time.
- Consider the operator. Comfort and balance on the back matter as much as engine size.
