Dwarka is a planned residential and commercial district in south west Delhi. There is no factory belt here, and anybody telling you they supply one is describing somewhere else.
What there is, in quantity, is small-scale packing: online sellers despatching by courier, home and small-unit food businesses, cloud kitchens, and offices sending documents and samples. This page is about the smallest sealing equipment we supply, and about when you genuinely need it.
A hand sealing machine — an impulse sealer — closes a poly bag by pressing a heated bar across it for a moment. It is a bench tool. It is not a packing line and it does not fill anything.
It suits a person closing bags one at a time: a seller bagging a garment, a kitchen sealing a pouch, a store closing a bundle of parts. For that work it is the right machine and there is nothing better.
What it will not do is run continuously all day at speed. If you are closing bags faster than one every few seconds for hours, you have outgrown it and should be looking at a continuous band sealer instead.
Buy it for the widest bag you actually use. The most common mistake here is buying an eight-inch sealer for a ten-inch bag and living with a two-pass seal that has a weak point in the middle.
A courier parcel is handled more times and more roughly than a truck consignment, by people who cannot see what is inside it.
That means the pack has to be closed, not merely covered. A taped-over bag opens; a sealed bag with a taped label does not. It also means the label matters as much as the seal — a label that comes off is a parcel that is lost, and every courier's returns shelf is full of them.
Put the label on a flat face, not across a seam or a seal, and cover it with clear tape if the journey involves rain.
For anything fragile, the bag is not the pack. It goes in a box, and the box needs filling so the contents do not move — a parcel that rattles is a parcel that will be opened as a complaint.
Selling online means a share of what you send comes back, and the pack has to survive being opened by a customer and closed again by a courier.
A bag that has been cut open cannot be resealed, which is why so many returns arrive taped into a shape nobody can identify. If returns are a routine part of your business, design for it: a bag large enough to be reused, or an outer box with a second closure strip.
Keep the seal narrow and near the edge, so a customer can cut below it and the bag is still usable.
None of this needs a different machine. It needs a bag chosen with the return in mind, and it saves more than any equipment decision on this page.
A kitchen or a food seller sealing pouches is making a claim about what is inside, and the seal is the boundary of that claim.
The practical rules are short. Fill below the seal line, wipe the mouth of an oily pouch, and let hot food cool before sealing — steam trapped in a bag condenses, and the customer opens a wet pack.
Where the product is liquid, an impulse sealer alone is often not enough and the honest answer is a different pack, not a hotter setting.
Ask us with the product in mind. We would rather tell you a bench sealer will not do what you need than sell you one that disappoints you in a fortnight.

Ask three things before buying any bench sealer: the widest bag it takes, what the heating element and PTFE tape cost, and who repairs it. Most disappointment with small machines comes from the second and third.
Keep a spare element and a roll of PTFE tape on the shelf from day one. They are inexpensive, they fail without warning, and a seller with a dead sealer at seven in the evening has a real problem.
