Packaging machine supplier in India and Africa, from one works
PackForge Industries, a division of Fulcrum Infratech Pvt. Ltd., makes machines for packing, sealing and moving goods at its works in Faridabad. In 15 years our machines have reached factories, warehouses, exporters, shops and farms in every zone of India – North, South, East, West, Central and the North-East – as well as buyers in African markets. As a packaging machine supplier in India and Africa, we run both trades from one assembly floor, one stock of spare parts and one sales office.
The machine does not change with the destination, but almost everything around it does. A domestic order is a road consignment with a GST invoice and a PIN code. An export order is a sea or air shipment with a set of documents, an agreed commercial term and a plan for spare parts at a site several thousand kilometres from Faridabad. This page sets out how we handle each of the two, where distributors fit in, and what you should send so that the quotation comes back complete and needs no second round of questions.
Supply across India, zone by zone
Inside India, delivery is free to any address and 18% GST is added on top of the rate shown on the product page. A packer in Kochi and a packer in Ludhiana pay the same figure for the same machine. The only thing that differs is the date, which the Delivery Details box shows when you type your PIN code: about 3 days for metro cities and 5 to 6 days for other places, with Sundays not counted.
Delhi NCR sits closest to the works, so Okhla, Bawana, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and the estates of Faridabad are the shortest runs. Further out, the cities and industrial estates on our where we supply page give a picture of the spread:
- North: Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Baddi, Panipat and SIDCUL Pantnagar.
- West: Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Waluj MIDC.
- South: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Kochi, Hosur and Tiruppur.
- East and Central: Kolkata, Howrah, Indore and Nagpur.
- North-East: served the same way, with the date shown against your PIN code.
Domestic order and export order, side by side
Buyers who deal with us in both regions often ask what actually differs. The short answer is in this table; the sections after it explain the export column.
| Point | Order inside India | Export order to Africa |
|---|---|---|
| Price basis | Rate + 18% GST, delivered free to your address | Quoted EXW, FOB or CIF to your port |
| Paperwork | GST invoice against your GSTIN, with e-way bill | Commercial invoice and packing list, plus the documents your bank and customs need |
| Packing | Packed for road freight and handling at transhipment hubs | Packed for sea freight; ISPM 15 treated timber where the country asks for it |
| Time | About 3 days to metros, 5 to 6 days elsewhere | Build time plus transit on your route, both written on the quotation |
| Power supply | Indian mains supply | Built for the voltage, phase and frequency at destination |
| Payment | Online in the cart, or as agreed on a bulk quotation | Advance remittance or letter of credit, agreed per order |
| Spares | Sent from stock to your PIN code when needed | Wear parts packed in the crate with the machine, on our advice |
Large domestic orders can also be dispatched in stages to match how fast your plant can install them. The packing and timing rules for Indian consignments are on delivery and dispatch.
Export packaging machines to Africa: how an order runs
Most export orders follow the same five steps. Knowing them helps an importer plan the cash, the paperwork and the arrival date.
- Enquiry. You give the destination port and country, the electrical supply at site, the incoterm you buy on and the name of your forwarder if you use one.
- Quotation. You get three prices – EXW, FOB and CIF – to weigh against what your own freight and clearance would cost. Build time, transit and payment terms are written on it.
- Payment. Advance remittance or a letter of credit. If you plan an LC, let us read the draft before your bank opens it.
- Build, test and pack. The machine is built for your supply, run-tested at Faridabad and packed for the sea journey.
- Shipment and documents. The consignment moves with the document set agreed at quotation stage, or is handed to your own forwarder.
We do not publish a transit time for Africa because it depends wholly on the route and the port. If your country requires a pre-shipment inspection or a certificate of conformity, tell us at the enquiry stage so it is arranged before the container leaves. The full checklist is on export orders and documentation.
Spare parts when the machine is far from Faridabad
Distance changes the spares question more than any other. In India, wear parts for every model we sell are held in stock, so the wait for a part is mostly the road transit to your PIN code. For a machine in Africa, a part ordered only after the line stops still has to sail and pass through customs, and that wait is counted in weeks. So for an export order we recommend packing the likely wear parts in the same crate as the machine, and if something urgent is needed later it can be flown out instead of waiting for the next sailing.
The kit need not be large. Tell us the model and how many shifts the machine runs, and we will list the handful of parts that matter for that duty. For an impulse sealer the list is very short: heating elements and Teflon tape, which suit both the Standard and Heavy Duty model of a given size, and which a trained operator can replace on site without a service visit. For AMC and parts across the range, see spare parts and AMC. Warranty for an exported machine is written on the export quotation; the general warranty terms explain how claims are handled.
Distributor enquiries for India and Africa
We appoint distributors territory by territory, in India and in African markets. Inside India a territory is a city or a district, agreed in writing. We would rather work with one strong dealer in an area than several who compete with each other on price. A distributor gets dealer rates, a demonstration machine and training on the product, while PackForge keeps responsibility for warranty and spares on every machine the distributor sells, so the distributor does not carry the service risk.
For the impulse sealer line, the businesses that usually fit are:
- A counter that already sells packing material or small machines to walk-in buyers.
- A firm that supplies bakeries, kitchens or shops with equipment.
- A GST-registered online seller with buyers of its own.
- A local technician able to change heating elements and Teflon tape on site.
Bulk buyers – 50 pieces or more, or an order value of ₹5 lakh and above – are served at their location, either through an authorised dealer in the area or directly from the Head Office in Faridabad. An African distributor is not put on a separate rate card for parts or on weaker cover: spares are priced and warranties honoured exactly as for a buyer who comes to us direct. Apply through become a distributor; our team calls every applicant.
What lets one works serve both markets
Every machine for either region comes off the same floor in Faridabad. Machines are assembled and run-tested there, and the sealing heads, motors, pneumatics and controls that go into them are bought from tested makers in China and Taiwan and checked on arrival. The sourcing side is explained on imported machine components. Office stationery, safety and bag products are bought in and supplied rather than made by us. The quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
The practical result is that a distributor in Africa and a factory in Pune receive the same machine, and a spare part ordered by either one is the same part. Both are dealing with the maker, not a reseller of someone else’s stock; what that changes for price, invoice and returns is explained on buy direct from the manufacturer.
What to send with your enquiry
A complete enquiry gets a complete answer in one reply. Send what fits your case:
- Buyer in India: the product or your pack size, the quantity, the delivery PIN code, and your GSTIN if you want input credit.
- Importer in Africa: destination port and country, voltage, phase and frequency at site, the incoterm, your forwarder, and any import rule your country applies.
- Distributor in either region: firm name, the territory you want, your present line of business and the monthly volume you expect.
The sales lines are +91 95822 69346, +91 98184 38346 and +91 98184 57346; all three also take WhatsApp messages, which can be simpler for overseas buyers working across time zones. Letters and visitors reach us at PackForge Tower, B-194, 2nd Floor, Green Field Colony, Sector 41-42, Faridabad, Haryana 121001. Email and the enquiry form are on the contact page.
Questions we are asked about this
Do you supply packaging machines all over India?
Yes. We supply every zone of India from our works in Faridabad, and delivery is free to any address. Metro cities usually receive a machine in about 3 days and other places in about 5 to 6 days. Enter your PIN code on a product page to see the date.
Which African countries do you export to?
We export to African markets and handle export packing, documents and freight from our end. Tell us the destination country and port, and we will say plainly whether we have shipped there before and what the shipment will involve, including any inspection your country requires.
Can you quote CIF to an African port?
Yes. Give us the destination port and we will quote EXW, FOB and CIF, so you can compare our figures with your own forwarder’s rates. If you already have a forwarder with a good rate, we can hand the consignment over to them.
How long does an export order to Africa take?
It is build time plus transit on your route, and transit depends entirely on the port and the shipping line. Both figures are written on your quotation instead of being estimated on this page. Inside India, delivery is usually about 3 days to metros and 5 to 6 days elsewhere.
Will the machine run on the power supply in my country?
Tell us the voltage, phase and frequency at your site when you enquire, and the machine is built for that supply, including 50 Hz and 60 Hz. A wrong supply is the most common reason an imported machine does not run on arrival, and it is easy to settle in advance.
Can I become a PackForge distributor in Africa or India?
Yes. Distributor enquiries are open in both regions and territories are agreed in writing. You receive dealer rates, a demo unit and product training; warranty and parts stay our job, not yours. Apply through the distributor page and our team will call you.
How do spares and warranty work for an exported machine?
We recommend a spares kit shipped with the machine, sized to your model and shift pattern, and an urgent part can go by air. Warranty terms for an export order are stated on the export quotation, because sending a part abroad differs from sending one within India.
Supplying India or shipping to Africa?
Send your PIN code, or your destination port and power supply, and we will come back with the price, the date and the documents involved.
