What goes into a Ghaziabad carton?

Which Ghaziabad industrial area are you in?

When should a heavy carton be strapped, not only taped?

Tape holds the flaps shut. It does not carry the weight of the goods when a box is lifted, thrown onto a truck bed or stacked under ten others. In Ghaziabad's trades, that point comes early. Add a strap when any of these apply:

1. The carton is lifted by hand and the board bulges at the bottom.
2. The goods are steel, castings or full bottles and fill the box tightly.
3. Cartons are stacked high in a transporter's godown for days.

How quickly does a sealer reach Ghaziabad?

Engineering floors are hard on tape. Grinding dust, cutting oil and the fine powder from paints or chemicals settle on outer flaps, and the adhesive then grips the dirt instead of the board. Simple steps help more than a new machine:

• Bag oily parts before they go into the carton.
• Store empty cartons away from the grinding or filling area.
• Wipe the flap line on dusty boxes before sealing.
• Move heavy cartons to 3-inch tape so more board is held.
